I am a huge fan of the simplicity and safety without excess waste of using soap nuts for all my laundry needs (including those cloth diapers)! Soap nuts grow on trees! We have discussed all the wonderful benefits of using soap nuts here and from our previous giveaway here, and now we want to introduce you to the liquid version! As I shared before, Soap Nuts are the only laundry soap that grows on trees, thus giving us the most sustainable and natural option out there. It is 100% safe and natural for the most sensitive skin. Soap nuts are the dried fruit of the Chinese Soapberry tree. They contain saponin, a natural cleaner. They are simply harvested, de-seeded, and then dried in the sun. Great for hard water and high efficiency machines. It is biodegradable, hypo-allergenic, brightens colors, low sudsing, and contains a natural fabric softener.
Now NaturOli offers another product that makes it even more simple and convenient to use soap nuts – enter Extreme 18X liquid detergent! You only have to use 1/2 teaspoon per load of laundry as it is a highly concentrated 18x potency. I have been experimenting with the Extreme 18X liquid detergent and I really love it. It cleans well, smells fresh and produces soft clothing. My tip: make sure to use a measuring spoon to measure it out per load. It is so easy to use too much when you simply squirt it into your washer. Extreme 18X works in your dishwasher as well! Simply squirt about 1/2 teaspoon in your dishwasher dispenser and away you go! I have also diluted it with water in a spray bottle for a gentle and effective household all-purpose cleaner with great success. This is a multi-purpose all natural alternative that avoids excess waste. See that picture on the left? Compare that weight and packaging and see how much better soap nuts are for our environment.
Now, you can win a sample of the Extreme18X liquid detergent! This sample offers you 1 ounce of
liquid detergent that will yield 12 high efficiency (HE) loads or 6 standard loads – or more! If you have been skeptical of the wonders of soap nuts, this is your opportunity to sample the most concentrated, effective, green laundry detergent on the market.
We have 20 sample trial bottles to give away today! So there will be 20 lucky winners of the Soap Nuts Extreme 18X laundry detergent!

Hi, I haven’t tried SoapNuts yet and would love to!
Soap nuts liquid sounds wonderful! I would love to try them. I’ve been reading up and trying more natural solutions at our house. Thanks for the offer!
Hi, I have heard about soap nuts but have hesitated trying them because we have a HE washing machine that says you should only use HE detergent. I would love to try this new product. Being that we spend most of our days in the garden, we have lots of stains. My daughter who is the girliest girl you have ever met is the worst stain maker of the two. It’s been raining here most of the summer so every rag rug we have has dirt on it from the dogs. I would love to see if this could stand up to those stains.
Blessings,
Tracy
Ack! Did I miss it? I’m trying soap nuts right now – thanks to your recommendation. I ordered a 40 load pack for me and for two friends so we can all try it. So far, so good! I’d love to try the liquid, though.

I just got my soap nuts last week from NaturOli. Thank you so much for the recommendation. They are wonderful!! I have a new HE washer and do not want all the suds. My clothes feel better with these nuts than with fabric softener. I crocheted some little nut bags and sent some to a few friends to try.
I would love to try the liquid. I read it these nuts are a natural insect repellent and I would like to bathe my dog in it and make my family some “OFF.”
Thanks Lindsay.
Everytime I see soap nuts at the store, I’m tempted to try them out. I’d love to win this giveaway!
I keep looking at the NaturOli site & can’t decide if I want to try the soap nuts or the liquid. I would love a sample. I guess I could make my own cleaner & dishwasher soap from the nuts, but a liquid concentrate might be easier to start with. Any thoughts?

I first heard about soapnuts just last week on the 4 little men blog. I’d love to give them a try! I’m paring down my cleaning products and would like something that was produced with as little packaging as possible (and with a 9 month old who is crawling, there’s just no need for so many bottles of random products in the house).
I have two boys in cloth diapers. I would LOVE to try this product.

I’ll definitely post this on my blog so I can be entered twice. Also, your website was where I first discovered soap nuts. I’ve tried the sampler pack and loved it and now I’m on my first big pack. I think I’m also going to try grinding some of them into a powder and using it as a household scrub and possibly for a few other things I have up my sleeve!
I haven’t tried them yet, but am very excited to. Thanks, Lindsay, for the great giveaway!
I had never heard about soap nuts until I read your earlier posts on them, and I am always trying to find natural alternatives, especially since I’m expecting a baby in a couple months (hoping you’re right about the cloth diapers :p )! So, I ordered the sampler from NaturOli, and I loved them, I’m getting ready to order a bigger batch, but I would love to try the detergent too!
My hubby and I just got married and are about to purchase our first washing machine. I would love to try Soap Nuts as we try and make healthy and environmentally friendly choices in our new home!

Thanks for the opportunity.
In June we sent our 17-year old daughter off on a Missions trip in Nepal. Just days before she left, we both read your post on soap nuts, so she was determined to find some soap nuts in Nepal (directly below China). Just this Friday she returned from her trip and brought me back soap nuts — YEAH!! I haven’t tried them yet, but am very anxious to.
Please enter us in this give-away contest. We’re anxious to use soap nuts products.
Thank you!
Great giveaway! I hope I win.
I haven’t tried these yet, but they’ve been on my radar. i have a huge supply of detergent so I haven’t bought any yet, but I think they are my next purchase.
I am really excited about a liquid version of this and love that it can be used for multiple uses
Hey! I am super excited to try this out soon. With two kidlets I do a lot of landry and am looking for a frugal and natural alternative to what I have been using. With my husband in grad school it wouldn’t hurt to save money on such a commonly used household product.
I’d love to be entered in the giveaway! I have only recently heard about Soap Nuts and am completely intrigued, I’d love to try it out before purchasing my own supply.
I have not tried soap nuts, but would be interested in giving them a try…my husband and I are trying to do things more naturally, and these would be a great expirement. Thanks for the opportunity!

Would love to win a sample! I’ve been wanting to try soap nuts for a while and the liquid form sounds ever better!

I have been intrigued by the option of soap nuts as a laundry detergent since your first post on it. I would enjoy a chance to try it out.
Haven’t tried them yet, but really, really want to!
I have never tried Soap Nuts, but I have been wondering about them since you first mentioned them.
I would love to try this!! Thank you!
Please enter me in the contest. Thank you!
(I have not tried soap nuts, but make our soap b/c of our young children, my sensitive skin, and environmental concerns….I would love to try them out!)
definitely going to try the soap nuts – as soon as I use up my current jug of detergent! I love the whole idea, and once again thank you for your blog – it’s been such an inspiration and blessing since I started reading it a few months ago…
I would love to try soap nuts!
I tried soapnuts after reading your first post about them. I had run out of detergent for my diapers right before vacation and ran into the natural food store to get some. I saw them on the shelf and decided to give them a try. I never would have if I hadn’t read your review. They work great with our diapers and a very easy to use. I also love that I can compost them too. Using them with diapers I don’t get as many uses out of them as I can with other clothes but it’s still worth the price in comparison to some options I’ve used. Thanks for all the great suggestions. I’m always in search of more cost effective and environmentally friendly ways to do things!
Yikes! That’s a lot of comments. I don’t think I even have 20 people who read my blog. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I have seen a demo of soap nuts but never tried them. I would love to win! Thanks!
Hi:) I am so interested in trying this product. It is so amazing to me how much God loves us to make this wonderful plant for our enjoyment and health! He is truly amamzing:)
I have been using soapnuts for a short time, and so far I really like them.
Elizabeth
this is the first that I have heard of Soap Nuts. I would love the opportunity to try it out.
I haven’t tried Soap Nuts yet, but I’d really like to. I bought a 22-gallon pail of powdered laundry detergent from Sam’s Club six months ago, but I’d like to try alternatives that are better for the environment and for us. I have very sensitive skin and we just moved to a home with a well and water softener.
I haven’t tried these yet, but have been curious since you first mentioned them. Currently I have been using a homemade laundry soap.
I use cloth diapers and am trying to be as eco-friendly as I can on a budget. I would love to try this product!
I love soap nuts! I would love to try the new version!! Thanks for the giveaway.
Jill in PA
After 8 children and 17 years of laundering, I am tired of the way conventional detergent doesn’t work. I am intrigued by the soap nuts concept, but the budget is tight right now. I’d love to give it a try.
Thank you for your blog, Lindsay. It is so refreshing to see young women take their role as managers of their homes seriously and for the glory of God.
I’m thinking about online college for one child and potty-training the 8th at the same time….with everything else in between! Wheeee!
I would enjoy the chance to try these out. I’ve heard of soap nuts before and I must admit that I’ve been a bit skeptical about them, due to the non liquid nature. However this liquid form seems right up my alley. I keep trying to find the most natural cleaners that I can find, especially those that go down the drain. Clean water is a particular issue for me.
Also I would like to be able to try them out first before I make the monetary investment. Trying to be frugal!
I have never heard of soap nuts before this post. This definitely sounds like something I would like to try. I have a few family members that have began making their own laundry soap. If this product works well and is cost efficient, it might be worth recommending.
Would love to try these as they are natural and have the potential to condense our current cleaning means!
I have not tried soapnuts but would love to!
I soooo want to try this! I made the home-made stuff you orginally had on here and it worked fine, but this sounds even better!
I haven’t tried yet, but I’d like to!
I have heard of soapnuts before but didn’t really understand them that well. This website has given me helpful information to see how they work and I would definetly like to try them. I’ve been wanting to make the switch to a more natural green life for our family, especially since my husband has very sensitive skin and my son has psoriasis. I like how you can use it for clothes, dishes, cleaning, and it seems so many other possiblities. Wow!
I have not tried soapnuts yet but I would REALLY like to. Pease enter me for the giveaway.
would love to get this for my mom to try out, the nuts might be a bit too green for her to try, but she’d definitely try this.
I haven’t tried these or heard of them. Would love to have the chance to try this! macd82 at gmail dot com
I’d never heard of soap nuts. But I’m willing to try anything once. Sounds interesting.
I have never tried these before but I would love to. My husband and I both have very sensitive skin so I think this might be exactly what we need.
I’ve never tried soap nuts but we are looking to be more frugal/natural-living minded! Would love a chance to try this product. Please enter me in the giveaway!
I have never even heard of soap nuts. Sounds neat and I would like to try it.
Just began reading about soapnuts as an alternative to cleaning delicate items and was amazed to see that they have so many other uses as well. Would love to try the detergent, please enter me in your giveaway. Thanks!
I found your blog and I love your ideas. I use the homemade deoderant and it is great! I would really like to try the soap nuts : )
I would love to try any soapnuts products. Thank you for all your valuable advice Lindsay, and thank God for leading me to your blog.
I’m off to my first college apartment soon and I’m quite nervous about money! This seems like a great way to save some cash, keep chemicals off of my skin, and help my clothes stay cleeeeeaaan.
I actually saw a segment on our local news this afternoon, and it prompted me to start researching soap nuts. In speaking with a good friend, she steered me to your website.
Call me silly, but I was so intrigued by the information on both the news and your site that I’ve actually already placed my order! Still I can’t pass up the opportunity to try it for free, or pass it along to friends and family.
thanks for sponsoring the giveaway!!
I bought a 2 lb. bag of soap nuts after reading about them on your blog and have LOVED using them! My husband is a carpenter and therefore often gets his work clothes really dirty and the soap nuts clean them very well. We’re expecting our first little one in January and I can’t wait to use the soap nuts on our cloth diapers… Thank you so much for blogging about them! Have a lovely day!
I love soap nuts and would definitely like to try the liquid form. Thanks.
I LOVE using soap nuts! I’ve been using them to wash diapers for a little over a month now with great results. I also make liquid myself (per instructions from Natur Oli) to use in my dishwasher – and it works so much better than the stuff we were using before – no residue or problems with build-up in the DW.
BTW, you can buy Natur Oli Soap Nuts Pieces on Amazon.com & save a bundle. They are mostly 1/2 shells, but still very easy to count out the number you need.
I haven’t tried them before, but would love to have the chance. Thanks!
I’ve been looking for a more natural alternative to laundry detergents – this sounds great and I would to win a trial bottle – thanks!
I got a sample of soap nuts but haven’t tried them yet. I have a front loader and would love to try this liquid version.
Sounds great! I’d love to try it.
Would love to try them!
I would love to try the soap nuts. Thanks for the giveaway.
Wow! Lots of entries! I would love to try it because it sounds safer. I never tried an healthier alternative to the regular liquid detergent.
I ordered a bag of soap nuts after reading about them on your blog. I love them!! I ordered extra muslin bags and have been giving them to my friends. I will soon be ordering my second bag–but I might just give the liquid a try.
I was just thinking about your other soapnuts post and came back to read about why you don’t recommend Mountain Rose’s product, so this giveaway is pretty exciting for me!
http://justaelinn.blogspot.com/2009/08/if-you-want-to-try-soap-nuts.html
Hi Aelinn,
Good question! I’ve been assisting Lindsay with some of her research. MRH is a very good company (we buy various ingredients from them for other products). Soap nuts are not mainstream for them and they are selling NON-deseeded Tifoliatus (I ordered some myself because they were so cheap that it didn’t make sense to me). I even wrote an article about it because I never want to see someone have a bad experience. Trifoliatus with seeds will definitely not make for a good experience. There is a lot to know about Sapindus tree fruits. People are just starting to learn about them. Lindsay is doing a great job of getting her facts straight. Here’s a link to that article:

Have been anxious to try this product!
I have really been wanting to try soap nuts, and this sounds like a more convenient option than having to soak the nuts each time (since I wash almost everything in cold water). I would love to be entered to win.
I would love to be entered! I have used Allen’s Naturally so far, but after it is gone I am planning to branch out a bit and try things like Soap Nuts, Charlies Soap, etc. to find my favorite natural soap. Thanks for the giveaway!
I’ve been meaning to order some soap nuts and just about convinced my mom and a friend to “go in” on a bulk order when I saw your post! LIQUID soap nuts? Very cool. I love that it’s such a small bottle compared to almost all the regular available detergents. And I like that you can dilute it for an all-purpose spray cleaner. Thanks for alerting us to such a great product!
I tried soap nuts after your first post and giveaway about them. I really really liked them!! I definitely want to get more and am excited about how they will clean my soon-to-be-newborn’s cloth diapers!
P.s. I also linked this post to my blog, here: http://justlivinglearningloving.blogspot.com/2009/08/back-in-and-here-to-talk-about-soap.html
Since reading your reviews on soap nuts, I did purchase the smallest bunch. I have tried the once and found that they cleaned the clothes just fine! I added some of my favorite essential oil scent, and loved the way the clothes smelled. I am going to use up the rest of my laundry detergent, but then I may make the switch completely over to soap nuts. I am always looking for more frugal ways to get things clean and not to mention use up less space. My husband and I live in a studio apartment and have to be quite creative for storing things, so using a product that is all-in-one (the liquid detergent) sounds amazing! Thank you for doing all of the research and sharing your knowledge.
I’d like to be entered- I’ve heard of soap nuts before but haven’t tried them yet. How much of the liquid would you use for cloth diapers & how do you use the regular soap nuts w/ cloth? Thanks!
I’ve been wanting to try soap nuts – this seems like a great option!
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet, but would love to.
I’ve never tried Soap Nuts, but I’m really intrigued by the concept. I would love to give this stuff a try!
I have never tried Soap Nuts, but I would love to try! Please enter me in the drawing!
I’d love to try them… esp. since I’m switching to cloth diapers.
Hello! I would love, love, love to try a sample of this! I’ve been reading your blog for a while and am so appreciative of all the researce and info you post! It gives me so many helpful hints and tips to incorporate natural living into my life. I’d love to try a new alternative to laundry detergent – the soap nuts seemed a little daunting, so a liquid form might be a great way to try them out. Thanks for your blog!
Wow I would love to win one! I have been thinking about giving the soap nuts a try and this sounds like a great thing as well : )
I stayed up late last night reading about the soap nuts. My red headed children have very sensitive skin. This may help with the sore and dryness – especially in the winter. Thanks for the information and maybe for the free sample!
carrie
I’ve been using soap nuts for about 2 months and love them! They work great!
Lindsay, I had heard about soap nuts a while back. I was too skeptical to spend any money on them until you reviewed them on your blog. I have since bought, used, and been pleased with them. Thanks for all the great info!
Megan
i haven’t tried these yet, but i’d LOVE the chance to put them to the test
I would love to try any variation of soap nuts. I am a mom of four and am doing laundry all the time!
This looks great! I am always looking for better ways to clean our clothes.
Very cool, I would love to try them!
Hi Lindsay! You keep amazing me. I just love the enthusiasm I can hear in all your readers comments. I just flows over from you. I have never tried this product. Siounds awesome to me and I would love to try it ona ll 4 kids clothes. What a way to help the environment too! God Bless!
After reading your posts about soap nuts and telling my husband all about this laundry soap that grows on trees, we decided to try them out and we love them! My family has incredibly sensitive skin (even switching brands of dye free perfume free soaps would break them out) and we have not had any problems. I would love to try the liquid!! Please enter me in the giveaway! Your blog has been a blessing. (Our kids are about the same age as yours, so it is nice to see another woman striving to be and do as Scripture says we ought to).
I’ve never tried soap nuts, but they interest me for sure! I would love a chance to try this product!!
I would love to try this! I appreciate all your tips on natural cleaning, I am learning a lot and implementing as much as I can in an apartment!
I would LOVE to try this product! If I win the giveaway, I’ll try it out and hopefully order more.
I have not tried soap nuts yet, but am intrigued. I would love to be entered in your giveaway. Thanks!
I would love to try this! I think I would be more willing to try the liquid version verses the actual nuts. :-p
I haven’t tried the soapnuts or liquid, but would love to…please enter me! How cost effective is the liquid compared to the others laundry detergents you posted about?
The actual soap nuts (in whole form) is the cheapest, natural method for laundry I have found.
I am very interested in this product. It sounds great!
I have not tried soap nuts yet but I would love to do so! I’ve been reading all your posts and my hubby gave me the go ahead to try Charlie’s (I think it was less intimidating to him…even though I do the laundry!). My good friend is trying soap nuts right now and is really enjoying them. I’m telling all my friends about your site and we are all receiving so much encouragement! Thank you!
I’d like to try them. I read your posts about them but didn’t get myself to buy them yet since we don’t have a HE machine, just the normal one.
I’ve never used it but, I am always up for trying natural products.
I would love to try these! Thank you!
i would love to win. good for the environment and save money = great combo.
I have just recently heard of Soap nuts, my kids have horrible allergies and I would love to try a more natural product that would benefit them!!
I am very interested in the liquid version of Soap Nuts! I can’t believe how concentrated it is! Looks like it not only saves money, but also emliminates watse and would also save space in my limited laundry area! Hoping to win a sample
I have not tried them yet but am definitely interested!
haven’t tried these yet, but am intrigued!
I have’t ever tried soap nuts although I keep hearing about them. I would love to try them out.
I would love to try this!
I like them for clothes, but haven’t had much luck with diapers, they seem to get the stink. I wonder if liquid would solve that problem? I’d love to try!!
I LOVE SOAP NUTS…Enter me please!!!
I haven’t tried these, but with all the allergies we have, it sounds promising.
I would love to try these!
This looks very promising. I have been moving more toward natural cleaning products, and this really seems like the ultimate in environmentally friendly, safe laundry soap. I would love to try it.
I would love to try soap nuts! I haven’t tried it before! I too have diaper laundry that I could use it on. Thanks!
I have tried the soap nuts in my laundry & I also just made the liquid soap from them. We’ve been using it as shampoo. I would love to compare the prepared liquid to the liquid that I made.
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’d LOVE to!!! What a great giveaway!
I’d love to try this product! I’ve been following your posts about soap nuts and I’ve been curious to try them for myself! I’ve been gradually switching my household over to non-toxic, enviro-friendly cleaning products and soap nuts seem like an ideal alternative!
Wow this product sounds great! I would love to try it.
I haven’t tried these yet but I’m excited to, and I tried the Charlie’s Soap thanks to your site!
Read about these previously and would love to try them! What a great way to conserve. =)
I blogged about it here
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but would love to check this out, for sure! Expecting my 4th in less than a week, and haven’t had the opportunity to hunt down soap nuts.
Thanks!
I would love to try this as I love all things natural. I have not had the opportunity to try soap nuts either.
I have been wanting to try soap nuts for awhile now. The liquid sounds great.
I have just started using cloth diapers also and would love to use the gentlest soap available.
I’ve been using all the bad stuff, but I think it’s time to switch to better options. Even if I don’t win, I still want to try something better for the environment!
I haven’t tried them, but I would love to!
I’ve been enjoying soap nuts and would really like to try them this way!
Please enter me in the giveaway~ I have not tried this product and am very curious~ having 3 boys it would be great to have super clean clothes~
Pick Me~ Pick Me~
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet but I would really like to!
I haven’t had a chance to try soap nuts yet, but would love to do so. I am a stay at home mommy of 2 and make all of my own household cleaners. It is nice to know what chemicals are not in my house when my teething baby puts things in her mouth.
I would love to try the Soap Nuts liquid! I’ve been experimenting with a lot of natural products lately and would love the chance to try this out!!
I have never tried them, but I would certainly like to!

[...Passionate Homemaking is one of the many blogs I follow and enjoy. She has many great tips on natural alternatives to cleaners and personal care products. She's recently posted about a new liquid laundry detergent made from Soap Nuts...]
What a blessing to hear of such a neat product! Our family of 7 would be very blessed to try Soap Nuts.
I saw these a few months back in an all-natural food store. I was very intrigued by the idea, but was not sure if I could risk spending the money to try them. I would love to have the opportunity to share this great product with others.
I will send a link to your site on my blog.
Thanks!
Joyfully Nutty,
Shannon
I’d love to be entered. Thanks so much for doing the give-aways. They are so much fun!
I would lOVE to give this a try. Anything to make life easier and save money!!

I love soapnuts! I love that God even makes laundry detergent!
Hi! I’m from New Zealand, so can’t be entered. But I wanted to say thanks for letting me know about soapnuts! I’ve found someone who sells them here in New Zealand. I’m loving them, and I’m trying to encourage my family to try them.
Thanks again. God bless, Anita
Have not tried it just yet, but have heard wonderful things about it. Thanks for the opportunity to enter your giveaway!
I haven’t tried them yet but I would like to.
I’ve been enjoying reading your blog (LOVE the homemade deodorant)! I had never heard of soap nuts before reading about them here. Thanks in advance for entering me in the giveaway.
The first time I heard of soap nuts, I kind of scoffed, but now I desperately want to try them! I’m especially eager to try them on my diaper laundry.
My sister and I are in process of going all natural and would love to win a sample to share and take one more step to a toxin free home!
I have not tried soap nuts, but read about them on your blog and have remained intrigued ever since. I would love to be entered, thank you!
Are they really all that??? Very interested in this soap nuts stuff. Hope I get a chance to become a beliver! Thanks for your work on this site. Very encouraging.
haven’t try it yet, but would love to enter to win, thank you
Yay I’d love to be entered to win the 18x, I tried to win the actual soap nuts before with no luck…I haven’t tried the soap nuts yet but would love to! Right now I am currently using my homemade laundry soap but since your post on Borax I’ve been looking for other options, this would be great.
I don’t have a blog but I am posting this on my facebook page, Rebekah Butler Soriano. Thanks
Here is the link to my post:

I started making my own laundry soap a few months ago, but have never been really happy with it. When I first saw Soap Nuts, I quickly put them in my Amazon.com shopping cart… but I haven’t taken the plunge. Would love to win a trial bottle!
I’ve been interested in soap nuts for a while now, and your post a while back was very helpful. My husband has really sensitive skin and allergies, so I hope it will be even better for him then the “free” stuff. The 18x stuff sounds pretty neat too, and you can even use it for other cleaning?!? Now, I’ve just got to wait til I’m out of detergent or I win.
wow! I definitely want to try this…it sounds amazing!
I actually have used soap nuts and I loved them. A sample of the liquid would be great to try as an alternative.
I would love to try this! With allergies in our family we have to be so careful about what we use, so I would love to try this!
I found you through Stumbleupon regarding fruit flies and ants. You are my hero if this works like it looks like it will! I’ve never heard of soap-nuts and since I have a front-load washer, I have to use HD detergents. Where can I find this product; oops, I better look at the soap-nuts FAQ page. Many thanks, I’ll be back for sure!!
I would love to be entered. I have been wanting to try the soap nuts. Thanks for you wonderful information, it has been so helpful. Making the change to soap nuts is something that I have been interested in.
My sisters have tried them…I’m just a college student right now, so saving money is a VERY big concern of mine!
Never tried them, but I’m looking into it!
My daughters told me about your blog, and I’m trying to save money any way I can these days! I’d love to try some of this
I ordered them – can’t wait to try them!
oh i want to try these so badly! my sister ordered some but hasn’t tried them yet!!!
my old detergent is almost out…so maybe i should take the plunge & order them!!!
Thanks Lindsay! I purchased Soap Nuts from Naturoli after you blogged about them and I’m extremely pleased with the results, they clean well, even our smelly gym clothes which is the true test. The only thing that annoys me is that you have to catch the rinse cycle and remove them. So I’m extremely excited at this new option of liquid soap nuts, I really hope I win a sample but I’m sure I’ll end up buying some once all my soap nuts are gone. Thanks for keeping us all informed on your research and testing!
Would love to try the concentrate!!!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet as my husband is a little reluctant. (I wanted to order a large supply to save more $) This would be a great way for us to try it so he can see that he loves it and then I can order in bulk
Sounds great. Would love to try it out.
I haven’t used soap nuts yet… right now I’m using Charlie’s Soap, and I like it. I’d love to try 18x!! Thanks for sharing your research and your life with us
I’ve never tried soap nuts, but I’m very intrigued. I have a lot of allergies, so that might be just the thing. I blogged about your contest, too, on my blog about cooking allergy-free.
http://blog.easyaspierecipes.com/2009/08/ever-tried-soap-nuts-to-wash-your-clothes.html
I am new here. I would LOVE a chance to win a sample. Sounds like GREAT stuff!
Really interested in soap nuts! Would love to be entered in the giveaway. Really enjoy your blog!!
I would love to try it. I am currently trying out Charlie’s Soap.
I would love to try this product! Especially if it is free. I make my own homemade laundry soap at home. I’ve never tried soapnuts before.
I would love to be entered in the the giveaway. I have been wanting to try soap nuts for some time now. My children have very fair and sensitive skin, so I am always looking for something that will clean effectively but not irritate their sweet skin.
Linked to the giveaway and to your main page on my blog:

I would love to be entered. I have been wanting to try these but my husband and I hanve’t the money to put forward to order them if they end up not working out. This is great!
Would love to be entered! I’ve been looking at soap nuts a long time now, but hubby is so skeptical!! I think this may be just the thing to get him on board…
I would love to try this. Love your blog.
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet, but I want to! Thanks.
I’d love to try it! Count me in! Thanks!
I haven’t had the chance to try the soap nuts yet but am really interested in how these products work. Please enter me in your give away.
Thank You!
I would LOVE to win a sample. I have not tried soap nuts, but I LOVE natural products and would like to try some before I buy a bunch.
I would love to try this! Sounds like a great option. We have sensitive skin here in our household, and this sounds very promising. =)
i love the nuts and would love to try the liquid
This is totally new to me but I would love to try it. Thanks!
OOH! I would love to try these! I have read your other entries about it and I was very interested. Good luck with the potty training We are having a go at it ourselves! It is challenging with a newborn at home, but I think we can do it!
I would love to try the soap nuts liquid. I’ve trying to get a natural dishwasher detergent that REALLY cleans well and I’ve been frustrated so far. I came to your site looking for your detergent recipe! Also, we always need gentle laundry alternatives for our sensitive/allergic family clothes and the cloth diapers. And it’s less junk in the ground from our septic system.
Thanks!
Yay!! Another give-away. I’ve still never tried soap nuts, but I would love the chance to see what they’re all about.
I haven’t tried soap nuts, but I’ve been intrigued since your previous giveaway. I especially interested in the liquid because I like the idea of using it in the dishwasher.
Would love to try the 18x! We currently use Charlie’s Soap, but would love something that takes less space.
I have not yet tried soap nuts! It seems very convenient since you can use it in the wash, dishwasher, and for daily cleaning. I would love to be entered in the giveaway. Love your blog!
I have been interested in trying soap nuts… waiting until my detergent is out before buying. It would be fun to try this version. Thanks!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but need to just go ahead and do it! Thanks for another great resource.
I have never tried soap nuts, but I would love the opportunity! They seem like an interesting alternative to regular detergent. I just wonder if you can really use as little as they say you can. I know I never seem to get as much out of the 2X or 3X bottles of regular detergent that are sold at the store.
I live in Fla. and I have never heard of soap nuts before I read about it in your blog. It sounds really interesting and we have been looking for more ways of going green. I would love the opportunity to try them out.
I am very interested in trying soap nuts especially after reading what you said above about it being good for hard water (ours is terrible) and that it works in the dishwasher as well! I’ve given up on my dishwasher for months now because I can not find something I felt is safe to use in it and that will work in my very hard water. What a blessing it would be if it worked good, I’d gain about an hour back everyday doing dishes by hand! Sorry I don’t have a blog at the moment but thanks for the chance to win the sample.
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to try this for my laundry! My son has a chemical sensitivity, so finding a good laundry detergent is hard to do. Thanks!
i have always wanted to try these. I am always looking for new non chemical ways to clean and keep my house. thanks for this great opportunity to try something new!
I would love to try the liquid version. I have been using soap nuts the last month thanks to your recommendation. So far I have enjoyed them. I think the liquid would be more convenient, in that you would not have to worry about finding the little “bag” of nuts before putting the clothes in the dryer. Does the liquid clean about the same?
It is great to use something that I know is natural and better for the environment!
I haven’t tried them yet, so please enter me in the giveaway! I’d love to give them a shot.
I ordered the soap nuts after reading your previous post. While they work well, I found it frustrating to have to find the baggie of nuts while loading the dryer. Somehow they’d find their way deep into a sleeve or other fabulous hiding spot. Also my children are helping switch over the laundry and it’s even more challenging for them to remember and then find the bag. A liquid version would take that issue out of the mix. Sounds fabulous! (Oh and how does it impact the nuts when they do get dried in the dryer, as it’s happened more than I’d care to admit?)
Sounds cool. Want to be entered in giveaway. Good idea!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I would love to try them as I research what to use for washing cloth diapers when our baby is born.
I would love to be entered in the giveaway….I am just using up the last of the detergent that I already have and then I am totaly ordering Soap Nuts!
Count me in. I have never tried them before, but would love to. With 2 loads of laundry going a day, anything helps.
Your blog is the first time I’ve heard of soap nuts. Sound interesting. I’d like to be entered. Thanks!
Oh I’d love to try this liquid soapnuts product–it will be perfect for our washing needs on the extended trip we’ll be taking! Thanks for the giveaway!
I tried the soap nuts and liked them. I think I would like the liquid even better. It would be easier to use and I’m a big fan of a multi-tasking product.
I have not tried soap nuts. I have been making my own detergent and am not very happy with the results. I’d love to try soap nuts!
I sooooooooo want to try this! I still have some soap left because I have been making my own (with borax) but I really want to stop using the borax (and the frugal person that I am has to use it all up). I have REALLY wanted to try the soap nuts, but even more so now that you say you can use it in the dishwasher! My husband won’t let me use the dishwasher because he doesn’t like how my “natural” stuff cleans (or lack thereof) and I’d love to have something that works (and fits both purposes!!!). Please please please enter me in the give-away! Thanks so much!
I tried the soap nuts after reading about them on your blog. I really liked the way they cleaned my clothes and love the environmental impact ) I’d love to try the liquid concentrate though. That sounds like a fantastic product. Thanks so much for such a great blog. I learn so much here!
I friend told me about soap nuts. When I was looking on line about them I found your wonderful site. Please put my name in for the giveway. Thanks.
I’m also interested in trying soap nuts but am going to try your homemade laundry detergent first.
Lindsay,
I have a bag of soap nuts in my laundry room that I ordered from Amazon.com last month, which will be used when I finish the bottle of (overpriced, but at least it on sale) Seventh Generation laundry detergent. I can’t wait to use them in my HE washer as I’ve already tried them in my dishwasher (along with your homemade recipe for dishwasher detergent) with great success!
Thanks again for this wonderful blog. I always look forward to your informative and thought-provoking posts!
Erin
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet, but have been wanting to. Please enter me!
Okay, I’ve never heard of a soap nut but would like to give it a try…especially if it help curb cost of getting clothes clean….naturally. Please enter me in. Thanks!
I am experimenting with soap nuts. It’s hard getting used to no suds because I equate suds with clean clothes. With a family of 10, I do 2-3 loads per day and am trying to find the most cost effective laundry soap. I would love to try the Extreme 18X because sometimes the soap nuts come out of the bag during the wash and get lost or end up in the dryer.
I have been wanting to try soap nuts, but I think I might be more comfortable using this liquid detergent. I’d like to be entered in the giveaway. Thanks for the chance.
Hi Lindsay,
I have tried the Soap Nuts per your recommendation, and I really liked them. I haven’t tried the concentrated liquid. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to win some. Thanks!
I still haven’t tried soap nuts, but since I’m running out of my Seventh Generation laundry detergent, I think I’ll order some. But maybe I’ll win the giveaway first!
That is great – another fantastic opportunity. I did purchase the soap nuts based on previous discussions. We still purchase deodorant and the regular soap nuts do not seem to remove the deodorant smell or residue from our cloths very well. Any suggestions?
If I would still qualify I would love to be entered in the drawing for the liquid. I would like to try it for other cleaning purposes!
I am just starting to try and simplify the way we live in our home, by trying different products and using less. I have never tried soap nuts, but I would love to. I havent really found a product that I feel like cleans our clothes well enough to give up my old laundry detergent. How long have you been using this?:)
We have been using it for about two months now.
I would like to win these for my wife. Thanks for hosting this contest!
Please enter me into the giveaway! By the way, is it cheaper per load to use the nuts or the 18x liquid? Thanks!
The nuts are cheaper than the liquid version, but then again it really depends upon the size you purchase and how many loads it extends for. Sometimes you can use less.
I have never tried soap nuts, but I would love to! Please enter me in the giveaway.
I would love to try this product! I am curious about Soap Nuts:)
I would love to try soap nuts! I am new to natural cleaning products, but I have been reading about them on your blog lately. I have just been using Costco’s environmentally friendly detergent, but environmentally friendly isn’t the same as natural! I’ve learned so much from your blog- thanks for all of the great information!
I really want to try soap nuts, but am unable to at the moment because of where I live. I would love a healthy, frugal detergent, especially for my cloth diapers. Thanks for the giveaway.
I have never tried soap nuts, but am going to be using cloth diapers on my little girl that is due in 7 weeks and will be needing a good natural detergent for them. I also love anything that is multi-purpose to make my home more simple! I would love to try a sample of this soap nuts!
I’ve never tried this product before, but it sounds great. I’d love to try it.
I would love to try this out. Please enter me in the drawing!
I’ve used soap nuts, since I read about them on your site. I think they’re great for laundry, but haven’t had much success with them for dishwashing.
I am interested in trying the liquid form of soapnuts! I am just soo thrilled at the simplicity and the natural aspect of it… Thanks Lindsay for doing several posts on your discovery! I love reading your blog.
I posted about the giveaway on my blog… http://unafamiliaalaskena.blogspot.com/2009/08/soap-nuts-giveaway.html
Would love to be entered. I haven’t tried soap nuts yet but have really wanted to try them.
I am very interested in trying soap nuts. Please enter me in your giveaway.
I am trying a sample of soap nuts right now. So far so good. 1/2 tsp per load sounds amazing!
This sounds like a wonderful giveaway! Please enter me into it. What a great natural way to clean clothes! Thank you for having another giveaway and God bless.
Megan
I have not yet tried soap nuts, but I’d love to. I’m just about to try a batch of my own first homemade laundry detergent using simple ingredients. I’m always looking for ways to both be frugal and natural as I’m raising my two young daughters (2 1/2 and 10 months) and caring for my husband and home. Unrelated note: our daughter is just getting over the big hump of potty training and I think we’ve learned a lot, especially in the area of how we need the Lord to fill us with patience, understanding, and gentleness as we teach and train our children! My prayers are with you as you potty train! Thanks for your blog! It’s been fun reading.
I’ve never tried them, but would love to!
I definitely want to try them, but haven’t yet. Hmmm…maybe I’ll win this!!!!
I have been wanting to try soap nuts for some time now. I have tried making my own with borax, fels soap and soda wash but it didn’t get all those grass stained dirty little boys clothes very clean. Now I am using Sun and Earth liquid detergent with so so results. Soap nuts sounds so natural and inexpensive and I would especially love it if it would get my boys clothes clean!!
By the way, I really enjoy reading your web site and trying some of your ideas. Thank you!!
Jen
After the give-away, I wonder if NaturOli will offer a discount code to your blog readers?
I’ve been intrigued by the soap nuts, but haven’t tried them yet – sounds like this would be a great way to try them without a major commitment!
I love soap nuts!! Would love to try the liquid!
Oh, wow!! I’m so glad I saw this. Cleaning and laundry products are next on my list to convert from the conventional “stuff”. Having a sample to try would be awesome – and hopefully a good way to also convert my DH.
Hi! I’m very interested in trying soap nuts! This sounds fascinating! Thanks for the opportunity!
I have not tried Soap Nuts, but I want to. I would love to be entered into this giveaway.
I’ve never tried these before, but I’d like to–it sounds great! Please enter me in the giveaway.
Thanks!
I am very interested in trying soap nuts. It sounds great, please enter me in your giveaway!
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet but would love to be entered into this give-away. This liquid version sounds so easy to use.
I haven’t tried soap nuts. I’ve been using the borax/washing soda/ivory soap mixture. I’d love to be entered in the contest. Thanks!
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet, but would like to. I am trying to switch all our household cleaners to natural products and havent changed our detergent yet.
I’d like to try soap nuts.
I would LOVE to try this product out! I am making the switch to all natural cleaning products and have come a long way in other areas except with the laundry!!!!!! Would be so excited to win!!
I have never tried Soap Nuts, but I am very interested in them! I would love to try it on my cloth diapers!
Please do NOT enter me but I wanted to put a quick post up about soapnuts. I bought some from NaturOli and unfortunately within two weeks of using them all our BumGenius 3.0 cloth diapers (over 50 diapers) were repelling water and leaking at every diaper change. I have been in communication with the company and will be getting a refund, but they first tried to say it must be something else. However I have used cloth diapers every day for nearly 4 years (I’ve got 5 kids, so typically 2 or 3 kids in diapers at once), and these specific cloth diapers for over a year with the exact same wash routine and no leaking issues. The only change was the soapnuts.
However, if you are not using cloth diapers, go for soapnuts! It doesn’t matter if a shirt repels water
Let me just share that this is pretty normal when changing diaper detergents. I have had this similar experience when I changed from two different detergents. It seems like it takes several washes for the diapers to get completely stripped of the other detergents. There usually is some build up it seems.
I have been trying to replace all of my household cleaning products with natural alternatives and would love to try soap nuts!
I am very interested! I am planning on cloth diapering next spring and am looking for the best soap for the job.
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet.
I have been making my own laundry detergent for almost a year now. It works well, but I would love to have a great back-up (for those days when I am out of detergent, but don’t have time to make it). I first hear of soap nuts on your blog and love them so far. I would like to try the oil, so I hope I win!!
I’d love to be entered. I haven’t tried them yet, but either want to try some or make detergent from your recipe before the school year starts.
I think the liquid sounds interesting. I have a front loading high efficiency machine and would like to try this. Thanks!
I haven’t tried Soap Nuts yet, but I’d love to. I always hate filling up the normal laundry cups all the way to the top; it just seems unnessesary. I like that just a little bit goes a long way with Soap Nuts!
I would love to try soap nuts. I haven’t yet because I read somewhere that they don’t seem to work quite as well with cold water and I only wash on cold! I would love to use something 100% natural though.
Hello!
I haven’t tried soap nuts. Please enter me in the drawing for this cool sounding eco product.
Erin
I’d love to be entered into the drawing as I’d love to try a sample before I purchase soap nuts. Thanks!!
I have not tried soap nuts, but have been reading up on it and am very interested. My husband does a lot of mechanical work so his work clothes get pretty nasty. I am interested to see what it could do for that, and for my almost two year old who loves to wear alot of her food! Thanks!
Wow, please enter me into the giveaway!!! I have been thus far experimenting with the things in my kitchen to make an all natural cleaner for laundry and all else in an effort to simplify my life and the life of my family’s. I read your blog on soap nuts and was instantly intrigued. I would love the opportunity to try it first hand!
I’ve been wanting to try soapnuts. I recently made my own detergent, but am not thoroughly pleased with it…. Thanks for the giveaway! Your blog continues to be a blessing to me. Jessica
Here’s where I blogged it:
http://youknowyoureasupermomwhen.blogspot.com/2009/08/hurray-another-giveaway.html
thanks:)
I have tried and use soap nuts daily. i.love.them.especially on our dipes. I would have never learned about them had I not been following your blog. I’m very much interested in trying the liquid version. Thanks so much
I would love to try this product. This seems easier to use in the liquid form. How does it do with stains? Do you spray some on the stain before washing? I have been experimenting with making my own laundry soap and I can’t seem to get stains out. Just wondering. Thanks!
It is pretty standard when it comes to stains. I have found pretreating with a little dishsoap has been key. If I scrub the stain down with dishsoap and then let it sit for 5 minutes and then throw it in the wash it comes out perfectly clean! Love it!
I really want to try soap nuts so I would love to win this!
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet. I love to see how it works for me. And in the dishwasher…. finding good green dishwashing stuff has been a long drawn out process!
I am interested in trying this, I was intrigued by the soap nuts, but a liquid would be something that I would use and would be healthier for our 15 month old twins. Please enter me in the giveaway!
Thank you!!
I’d love to give this a try. I just discovered the old world fun of using soapwort or saponica flowers and leaves sprinkled in a basin to wash when outdoors (or anywhere, really). Go, saponica!
wanting to try this! linked up to my blog also;)
I would love to try soap nuts, it would be such a blessing!
I haven’t tried soap nuts, but would like to do so. Please enter me in the giveaway!
I have not tried them yet, but would like to!
I would love to try soap nuts. I love anything that is green and can do more than one task.
I have been dying to try soap nuts, but as someone new to the whole clean and green cleaning, I was a little uncertain about putting the berries into my laundry and expecting it to be clean. I think this liquid is a great middle ground between the two and would be easy to do with the communal laundry room in my apartment.
Thank you so much for this offer!
Yours,
Meredith
This is fantastic! I’ve been looking for something to use in my HE washer because I’m scared of making my own. Thank you so much! Even if I don’t win the giveaway this is an amazing resource.Have a blessed day!
I have never tried soap nuts but they sound great. I would like to give them a try! Thanks so much for your blog – I really enjoy it and check it often. You always seem to inspire me!
Really want to try soapnuts please enter me.
I just received my first order of soap nuts in the mail last week and I can hardly wait to try them out! We’ve also been looking for a good dish detergent as well, so this would be a great chance to try that out. Thanks for the chance, Lindsey!
I’ve never heard of Soap Nuts before, but it sounds like a wonderful natural detergent. I love to try it. Please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks!
I haven’t tried this yet, but would love to. I’ve been using Charlies Soap so far.
I would love to try soap nuts. I love the idea of one soap for laundry and dish washer! And really it cleans cloth diapers well?!
I haven’t tried soap nuts before but I would really like to try something that’s good for my children and hubby! I’ve tried the homemade laundry soap but I have issues with the Borax. Thanks for the giveaway.
Kim
hi! i would love to try these as i have tons of laundry with my two lovins’ (two boys 2 and 2 months )and my hubby!!
I also haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’d love to. I use a bit of everything for laundry…TJ’s, castille, Tide on our vacation… I would love to try this stuff, too! Thanks!
Would love to try this product. I’ve been using soap nuts for about a month now. Love them! I have five children and do a lot of laundry. The soap nuts are working great for us. What a great offer!
I’ve actually been contemplating getting a trial size of the soap nuts to try but hadn’t done it yet! This would be the perfect chance to try it for free–thanks for the opportunity! And, as always, thank you, thank you, thank you for your blog!! It always inspires me to try new things, strive to be more like Christ in my homemaking and reminds me that I can be faithful, frugal and green all at once!!
Oh, I was hoping the giveaway you’d hinted about would be something to do with soap nuts! I would love to try this product. I have not yet used any soap nuts or soap nuts product, but it sounds wonderful. It’s been a challenge to find affordable natural detergents that are a wise choice. I had begun to make them myself, but I was using Borax. After reading your post about the questionable side effects of Borax, I’ve discontinued making detergents… So this is a wonderful chance to try something I really need!
I’ve been reading about soap nuts but have yet to buy any. I love that there is a natural soap detergent out there!
I would love to try soap nuts! I even saw them at my health food store today.
I would really love to try these! Your blog is so inspiring to me – love all the information! Thanks!
I have recently been viewing your blog. I love it. I am interested in trying soap nuts. I have been making my own laundry soap for a year. I have 5 kids (7,6,3,18mo.twins). Thanks!
Oooh, soap nuts! I’ve never tried it before but it sounds like a much needed way to naturally clean clothes! Perfect for our 5 month old son. I’m very curious to see how it works!
Very excited to try this. Sounds easier than reusing the nuts.
I haven’t tried the soap nuts yet but have been interested in them since your last posting on them and would love to be entered in the giveaway for the liquid to try! Thanks for the offer!
I have a sample pack of Naturoli’s soap nuts and they are working great!
I would love to be entered to win. I’ve been thinking more about all the chemicals we use in our home and if they are really necessary. I’m interested in trying an alternative to Tide but haven’t gone searching for one or tried to make my own detergent yet.
Your blog has been very inspiring and thought-provoking. Keep it up!
I would love to try this detergent. I have looked into trying soap nuts but just have not done it yet. This product looks like be perfect to use all sorts of things around my house.
I’ve been making my own detergent, but this is something I’d really like to try. Thanks for the opportunity.
Would love to try.
I would love to try this. I am currently making my own laundry soap but after reading about Borax I am interested in something else. Thanks for a great giveaway!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’ve been hearing so much about them and I’d love to give them a try. Thanks for the opportunity!
Blogged it at http://yooperdeals.blogspot.com/2009/08/soap-nuts-liquid-detergent-extreme-18x.html. Was wondering if you have Daylight Savings Time as you posted it ends at 5pm PST on the 4th…that would actually mean 4pm your time, wouldn’t it, with the hour time change this past spring??? Just checking. I posted exactly like you did, just in case.
I have been thinking about trying a green laundry detergent, but haven’t gone out and done it yet! I’d love to try soap nuts!
We haven’t tried Soap Nuts before but are very interested in trying them out! Thanks for the opportunity to do so. I learned something new from your post today.
I’d love to try this. I won when you gave away the soap nuts and I really liked them.
I am interested in trying the soap nuts too! I make our laundry detergent, but it contains borax and fels naptha soap, which I am growing concerned about. Plus I can’t use it on diapers. So to simplify and have something all natural would be great! Thanks, and I love your blog!
I would love to try this. Thanks for the opportunity.
I haven’t used soap nuts, but would love to be entered into this drawing!
I ordered soap nuts a couple weeks ago and they have cleaned just as well as my previous store boughten soap and homemade soap. I love that you just put them in your compost bin when they no longer work, nothing to recycle or throw away.
I am very interested in the soap nuts. I have not tried them, but have learned a lot about them from your posts. Please enter me in the drawing! Thank you!
I’d love to try this out! Thanks!
I would like to be entered in the giveaway. I have never tried soap nuts before.
I have not tried soap nuts, but I have heard good things about them, and I would like to try them. I came over from Amanda’s blog.
I’ve been wanting to try these out – thanks for the giveaway!!
Could you please enter me in the drawing for the sample of soap nuts. I’ve never tried them, and currently are using a homemade detergent with Borax. Due to being thrifty I intend to use it up before we try your other alternative recipe! But I really do like the idea of using something that is such a natural resource! It would a wonderful opportunity to try them!
Thank you for always inspiring and offering such a wonderful gift! Have a wonderful day!
I would love to win a sample of this stuff! I’ve been searching for something to use with my cloth dipes. I’d love to try it out! Oh and I wanted to say, I’m new to your blog and I <3 it!

Happy August first! I would love to be entered in your giveaway. I have the 18x solution on my wishlist, but have been very hesitant to buy it if I don’t know how it will work in my appliances. Thanks for sponsoring this giveaway!
New to your site, and I am loving it! Lots to take in….I haven’t used soap nuts before, but am VERY interested in the product. What better way to try it out? Thank you for the opportunity!
Soap nuts sounds really cool! I use Charlie’s Soap, but I’d love to try something different.
Please enter me! I’ve been wanting to try some so this would be great!
I have not tried soap nuts yet but I’ve heard many good things about it! I am interested in trying it out since we are using an expensive laundry detergent because my 10 month old has eczema and very sensitive skin. I would love to find a better more frugal way to care for my baby and other two children’s laundry. Thanks!
I have been interested in soap nuts since you first wrote about it. I would love to be entered in this giveaway! Thank you!
I haven’t tried soap nuts but am interested to see how they work. Please enter me in the giveaway. Thanks.
I haven’t tried these before, actually had not heard about them before my friend put a link here on here face book account. If they are all they seem to be, it would be great. I’d love to try them and see. Thanks
I would love to try this! I’ve been wanting to try soap nuts, but didn’t want to have to purchase a large box at first, and they’re so expensive at the health food store.
I haven’t tried soap nuts either but I’d love to try that little bottle! Thanks for doing this!

I read your previous posts about soap nuts and was very curious to try it out. But of course I haven’t gotten around to it yet This would be the perfect opportunity for me to give it a try. With three small boys and a mechanically inclined husband there certainly is no shortage of dirty laundry in our home. I’m always looking for ways to get the clothes clean without all the harsh chemicals. Thank you for offering this give away.
I have turned to natural and simple for so many of my personal and cleaning needs, but laundry soap seems to allude me! I love the idea of Soap Nuts and I would love the chance to try them out before buying! Great give away!
I tried soap nuts from The Laundry Tree when they had a sale on their ‘trial size packet’–for ONE CENT! I loved them and couldn’t believe how well they worked! I even got my mom to try them, too, and I would love to try this as well!
Sarah M
I actually need to make laundry detergent because I am out, but would love a chance to try out soap nuts. Thanks for the chance to win.
This is a great giveaway! I would love to try this liquid detergent. Thanks!
I love soap nuts. I’ve been using them for a couple of months and have completely loved them. I haven’t tried the liquid detergent yet, so I’d love to try some.
Wow! If this product really does all it claims I’d be so excited! I’d love to try it and see. I have a family of 7 and we do a lot of laundry. I’m always looking for ways to lessen our environmental footprint.
i am excited about this! i have longed for a natural alternative to detergent and i’ve never even heard of soap nuts until finding your blog (which by the way, has answered a lot of prayer for help and wisdom as I am 22, married, and am doing all i know to love the Lord and obey His commands to me as a wife and homemaker… with hardly any idea of what I’m doing!). i would love a sample of this and plan to look at their website for more info. thank you and bless you for all your labor.
Just stumbled onto your blog and think I’ll become a regular reader! I’ve never tried soap nuts, but I’d love to. Love that it is natural AND that it can be used on diapers and regular laundry.
Thanks for the giveaway!
I have not tried soap nuts yet, but plan to as soon as I run out of my current detergent. I would love to win a sample! I’m excited to know that you can use these for your dishes also. Thanks for the opportunity!
I’ve been using soap nuts for a little over a month now. I’m interested in seeing the difference between the regular nuts and the concentrated detergent. My son had serious skin reactions to our old detergent, but natural alternatives were extremely expensive, so we’re real thankful for soap nuts. And they get my husband’s work pants cleaner than any other detergent we’ve used. Thanks for pointing us in this direction!
Okay, Posted on my blog!
I have tried them and think that I like them…I definitely like the idea of them Just not quite sure yet.
linked to my blog.
I have been anxious to try soap nuts, but haven’t yet. I would love to try the liquid version, as part of what intimidates me is the different-ness of using soap nuts…I know, sad excuse, right?!
I’ll be back to post again when I link from my blog Thanks, Lindsay!
I’ve not yet tried, but have considered…would love to win them!
I have used another soap nuts (for my cloth diapers) but would love to try this multi use one! I have also been looking for something natural to use in the dishwasher. Thanks!!
I have not tried soap nuts yet, but have been intending to do so. It’s on my list of things to do more naturally. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!
Please enter my name! I’ve bought some soap nuts but have yet to try them. Maybe I’ll do that this weekend when I tackle my mountain of baby laundry!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet. But I have become increasingly intrigued with them. I would love to try some.
I have never heard of soap nuts before! But I’d love to give it a try!
I found your website a few months ago and have appreciated your recipes for homemade household cleaners as well as your general perspective on life, parenting, caring for your home etc. I keep trying different homemade laundry detergents but have yet to find one that I think does a really good job on all our clothes as well as the cloth diapers. I want to be frugal and care for the earth but I want clean clothes as well. These soap nuts look very interesting and worth a try. Thanks for the info!
I haven’t tried them yet, but I am certainly interested. I’m always looking out for more frugal ways to wash our clothes!
I’ve never tried soapnuts, but am intrigued by the concept. Seems to go along well with hanging laundry to dry in this hot August sun!
I have not tried soap nuts before, but am always interested in trying new natural alternatives in my house!
Oooooh, liquid soap nuts, Awesome! Seems so versatile – great tips on all the possible applications. This may be a future household staple for us, would love to try it out!
I’m interested in trying the soap nuts–I was a little hesitant before about trying the actual nuts in case they rotted, but I think I might give the liquid a try!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet as we currently use Charlie’s Soap for our clothes and cloth diapers. However, I’m interested!
I have purchased a bag of soap nuts and LOVE them! I am amazed at how soft and clean they leave my clothes. I’d love to try out the laundry detergent and even more so in my dishwasher! Thanks!
I’ve been wanting to try soap nuts. I just haven’t quite got around to buying any of them yet. I’d like to use something more natural.
I would love to win this soap nuts sample! My husband has severe eczema, so I have to be very selective in choosing laundry detergent, which can become pricey! Thanks for the info!
This is so cool! I really like soap nuts! I haven’t tried them yet and I was just about to buy some now that my laundry soap is almost gone-but it is wonderful that they are so good for the environment!
The liquid version looks even easier!
Thanks for keeping us in the loop!
I am instered in trying soap nuts. I have been looking for a natural cleaner that I can use on my cloth diapers that works well. Thanks.
i really want to try these! i am interested in learning about new natural products and this sounds amazing!
I’ve been using Naturoli’s soap nuts for about a month, and love them! but I’d love to try the liquid, too!
I haven’t ever tried them but I would love to be entered into the contest! Such a funny idea…soap nuts. Who knew!
I haven’t tried it yet, but would love to! My baby has very sensitive skin, so soap nuts sound like a good option–Dreft gets pricey! Especially with all the cloth diapers . . .
I really want to try Soap Nuts, they just haven’t been in the budget yet. But I’d like to get going on them before we have kids and diapers to wash!
I haven’t had a chance to try these yet, but they look intriguing. Please enter me for a chance to win!
I read about soap nuts when I was engaged and looking for ways to be green, healthy, frugal in my new household. Unfortunately my now-husband is a little resistant to my “hippie stuff” so I have to sneak it in when I can! (he looks at my Dr. Bronners, ACV, coconut oil, etc like its a biohazard) Alas, I never got around to buying soap nuts. Now we have a newborn daughter and I hate using even baby-safe detergent on her cloth diapers. This liquid form isnt as “hippie” as the actual nut so I think DH might not roll his eyes at me for this purchase! I absolutely love everything about your blog and recommend it to all my friends who are interested in simple living and christian living.
I have not tried soap nuts but would really like to in the future. Thanks for this offer!
ohhh, i’d love to try them!
I absolutely love soap nuts, not just for laundry, but as a dish soap and all purpose cleaner, too. I checked out the new Naturoli concentrate, but after doing the math, it is MUCH more expensive than simply purchasing my own soapnuts and making the soapnut soak as I do now. I purchase my soapnuts at Whole Foods, and one $14 bag yields 150 loads of laundry with no preservatives, versus $17.95 (plus a minimum of $4.26 shipping) and added preservatives for only 48 loads in our standard washer. Granted, as preservatives go, the Naturoli ones are not too bad, but they’re still there. As convenient as I’m sure this product is, it just seems a bit of a luxury, especially as we’re striving to live as simply, healthfully and frugally as possible. That said, I could see using this product if I were going to be traveling and didn’t want to have to lug a jar of soapnut soak with me, but for the cost savings, I’d probably just pack a few nuts and soak them at my destination.
I would love to be entered in the drawing for the soap nuts. I have not tried them before.
There on my list of things to try! Pick me
I would love to be entered. I’m getting low on what I’m using and have been really seriously been thinking about soap nuts. Thanks for the chance to try some.
I have not tried soap nuts yet, but would love to!
Thanks so much for another give away, I would LOVE to try soap nuts, I have read a bunch about them on your blog (thanks for all your research and time) and I have linked your blog to both of mine! Thanks for sharing all your knowledge- keep it coming!
I’d love to try this! I make my own laundry det. now, but I am getting frustrated that it isn’t cleaning my husband’s VERY dirty work clothes very well! My whites are also getting pretty dingy (especially his white t-shirts for work). Thanks so much for the giveaway! If I don’t win, hopefully I’ll be able to afford trying them out myself.
I’m really interested in trying soap nuts, but haven’t had the chance yet.
I’m interested in trying Soap Nuts. I haven’t tried them yet.
You have so many interesting ideas and products.
I have never tried soap nuts, but I have loved all of your ideas that I’ve tried so far. Count me in! Thanks!
I’ve been using soap nuts for my laundry and I love them!
haven’t tried soap nuts yet…would love to try the liquid version!! thanks for the give-a-way!
I’ve seen soap nuts at the Boise Co-Op and have been interested in trying them, but haven’t done it yet. I’d love to try this new product, because it sounds even easier to use. I really would love to win one of these free samples! I’m all about finding simple, natural products and solutions for green living. Thanks for the chance to win!
Yes!!!! I want to be entered. I am planning to cloth diaper (and have your site bookmarked for info!) and will be trying soap nuts asap. Just haven’t had a chance to order them yet.
I haven’t tried soapnuts yet, but am very curious. I have very sensitive skin, and use cloth diapers for my toddler (and this fall when my newborn is here!) I have awful municipal water and this combined with my previous allergic reactions to laundry products has made me scared to try new products. But the cost savings (and enviro aspects) of soap nuts continue to tempt me. Thanks for the giveaway!
I have not tried soap nuts yet but I am so very interested in doing so. So I would love to win some of this liquid detergent and maybe start a new trend in laundry amongst my friends!
I was online yesterday looking at soapnuts and I am very interested in trying them out. Please enter me into the drawing!
Thank you
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but would love to! I make my own detergent, but am always looking for something better! Thanks for offering the giveaway!
What a wonderful gift! I just started becoming interested in soap nuts a couple weeks ago & have been starting to ask questions as of late. I’m anxious to try it! I’ve been using the A&H “green” detergent, but as a PP mentioned about her brand, my store has discontinued this. When it was marked down, I bought the last 7. But it’s not going to last long, especially with 3 boys & 2 daycare girls, plus Hubba & I.
I’m off to post about this on my blog. Thank you for this!
http://wyo-helpmeet.blogspot.com/
I love them but I have been meaning to make the liquid stuff, i just have not gotten around to doing it yet. I would love to try the soap nuts in the dishwasher!
I have been hearing about soapnuts for about a year now and keep thinking I need to try them. This looks like the perfect opportunity!!!
I would love to try soap nuts. I have been wanting a safe and natural alternative to Tide that can clean my three boy’s dirty clothes! Thank you.
I have been experimenting with natural laundry soaps and I would love to try this! I’m not sure I am satisfied with what I’ve discovered so far, so I am open to options!
I’ve read a little bit about soap nuts, but haven’t tried them yet. Finding safe, cost-effective laundry detergent is so difficult that I’ve considered making my own, I’m still not completely excited about all the ingredients that I would need to use, nor the inconvenience involved. I would love to try soap nuts, so by all means, enter me in the contest!
BTW, I’m a newcomer to your blog, & I’ve found it very informative & inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge!
I haven’t tried Soap nuts before, but would love to be entered in the giveaway. I’m glad to have found a natural detergent and am looking forward to switch to Soap nuts. Thank you very much!
I’m very interested to try Soap Nuts. Your previous post really ignited my interest and I’ve heard about them several times since. It’s awesome that they just grow on trees! Thanks for the giveaway!
I’d love to try them! I’ve been skeptical and hesitant to buy so trying them this way would be perfect! Thanks a bunch.
Would love to try it! Always up for something new!
Thanks for the info on soap nuts, I had never heard of them before reading about them on your blog. Thank you for continuing to share info and ideas even though your demands at home have increased. I love your blog and frequent it often.
Please enter me in the give-away, it would be great to try some of this product!
I haven’t tried these but I’ve been wanting to for a long time now.
I’ve tried the Soap Nuts on your recommendation and love it. I’m so excited about this giveaway because I wanted to try the liquid form. Is it true you can use it in your dishwasher?
Please enter me in your contest. I also posted a link to your blog on my Facebook page.
I haven’t yet tried soap nuts, mostly because I wasn’t comfortable with the imprecise idea of tossing the dried fruit in with the laundry. With a liquid, that concern is gone, and I’m really curious to see how it would work.
Now, off to post about the giveaway on my blog . . .
Thanks so much!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’ve seen them all over the internet. I would love to try it! Thanks for the opportunity.
I have not tried, but would love to. It sounds like a great product that would be good for my family. Thanks!
I have not used soap nuts but have been interested since your last soap nuts giveaway. I’ve been having issues with my little girl having a red bottom after wearing her cloth diapers. I’ve switched laundry detergent, tried drying the cd’s in the sun, and washed the inserts with several drops of grapefruit seed extract. Nothing has worked yet. Maybe soap nuts will make the difference.
I’m interested in trying it for our laundry…Does it work with hard water in dishwasher? Just wondered how it compared to your homemade recipe for dishwasher. Please do enter me in the giveaway
heather
Havn’t had the oppurtunity to use the soap nuts yet, but would love to try them!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but have been SO intruiged by them since you blogged about them. I really want to try them but haven’t found a way to squeeze them into our (already very tight) budget. I really hope I win so I can try this! What a great give away – thank you!!
Sounds really cool – I’d like to try it out. If it works, I’ll totally buy some!
I haven’t yet tried soap nuts, in fact, I’d never heard of them until I stumbled onto your blog. I would be extremely interested to see how they stack up against traditional cleansers as I’ve been trying to ‘green’ our laundry lately! Plus, they look like a bargain!
I’ve never heard of soap nuts before. I’d love to try it. Thanks.
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet either, but I recently purchased Country Save detergent for the cloth diapers we are going to use for our first baby (due to arrive in the next few weeks). I like the Country Save, but I miss using liquid detergent and have been interested in using soap nuts since reading about them.
I’m always looking for ways to safely and naturally simplify life, and laundry is no exception! I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’ve been reading a lot about them on your blog and would love to see what they’re all about! Thanks for the offer!
I would like to be entered in the give away please. I have never used soapnuts before.
After years of not listening to my instinct, I am finally doing what it takes to make my entire household “green” and healthy. Your website has helped me a lot. Thanks!
I have just recently found your blog and love it! I read about soap nuts here, and would love to try the sample of the liquid version. I have 4 young children and am always trying to find an efficiant, natural way to do my many loads of laundry without spending a fortune! Some of the cleaners I have tried are so expensive and don’t do a great job (plus I still need to use a natural softener!). Thanks for the chance to win this great giveaway!
I would love to give soap nuts a try. Having children with skin allergies, I am always searching for a better laundry soap. Thanks!
I have tried the soap nuts and it did leave the clothes smelling fresh. I would love to try the liquid!!
I would love to try soap nuts out! I’ve looking for an alternative to regular detergent & this would be a perfect chance to try something new!
Read about soap nuts here, ordered them, loved them, got five more people to use them, giving a talk this Saturday at our church about cleaning for pennies a day and soap nuts will be featured =) Love you blog thanks for all your research. Melissa
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet but, I would sure like too. I currently make my own soap and wouldn’t mind giving it a try.
i have never heard of a soapnuts liquid! i would love to give it a try (especially on those stinky diapers!). what a fun giveaway!
I have been wanting to try soap nuts for a while, especially after you blogged about your experience. I actually went to the Naturoli website planning to place an order but wasn’t able to determine if they shipped to Canada. I meant to email them and ask what their policy regarding international shipping was but then I got kind of distracted having a baby I really should look into it again though because I am doing A LOT of laundry these days with a 5 week old and 22 month old… hmm, maybe it’s time to give potty training a try! Anyway, I would love to win a sample of the 18X because that is the product I was most interested in ordering.
I’m interested in trying soap nuts. It sounds like a good way to help make natural detergent for my laundry – which includes laundry for my 2-year-old and soon-coming newborn! Thanks for the offer!
I just recently learned of soap nuts and am very interested in trying it. My husband and I have been discussing ways to make our own laundry and dishwasher detergent. I also cloth diaper, so I would be interested in trying it with the diapers as well.
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet up but would love to. I have been buying Green Mountain for our laundry and the store where I get it is no longer ordering it. They’ve marked it down (good for now but when it’s all gone what do I do?!)
So yes – I’m ready to look into something else that is frugal, natural and can be used for both our diapers and our other laundry!
