Soap Nuts Liquid Detergent – Extreme 18X Giveaway!

Just compare Extreme18X to other detergents! What a significant waste difference!

Just compare Extreme18X to other detergents! What a significant waste difference!

I am a huge fan of the simplicity and safety without excess waste of using soap nuts for all my laundry needs (including those cloth diapers)! Soap nuts grow on trees! We have discussed all the wonderful benefits of using soap nuts here and from our previous giveaway here, and now we want to introduce you to the liquid version! As I shared before, Soap Nuts are the only laundry soap that grows on trees, thus giving us the most sustainable and natural option out there. It is 100% safe and natural for the most sensitive skin. Soap nuts are the dried fruit of the Chinese Soapberry tree. They contain saponin, a natural cleaner. They are simply harvested, de-seeded, and then dried in the sun. Great for hard water and high efficiency machines. It is biodegradable, hypo-allergenic, brightens colors, low sudsing, and contains a natural fabric softener.

Now NaturOli offers another product that makes it even more simple and convenient to use soap nuts – enter Extreme 18X liquid detergent! You only have to use 1/2 teaspoon per load of laundry as it is a highly concentrated 18x potency. I have been experimenting with the Extreme 18X liquid detergent and I really love it. It cleans well, smells fresh and produces soft clothing. My tip: make sure to use a measuring spoon to measure it out per load. It is so easy to use too much when you simply squirt it into your washer. Extreme 18X works in your dishwasher as well! Simply squirt about 1/2 teaspoon in your dishwasher dispenser and away you go! I have also diluted it with water in a spray bottle for a gentle and effective household all-purpose cleaner with great success. This is a multi-purpose all natural alternative that avoids excess waste. See that picture on the left? Compare that weight and packaging and see how much better soap nuts are for our environment.

Now, you can win a sample of the Extreme18X liquid detergent! This sample offers you 1 ounce of

This is the sample you could win!

liquid detergent that will yield 12 high efficiency (HE) loads or 6 standard loads – or more! If you have been skeptical of the wonders of soap nuts, this is your opportunity to sample the most concentrated, effective, green laundry detergent on the market.

Hi, I have heard about soap nuts but have hesitated trying them because we have a HE washing machine that says you should only use HE detergent. I would love to try this new product. Being that we spend most of our days in the garden, we have lots of stains. My daughter who is the girliest girl you have ever met is the worst stain maker of the two. It’s been raining here most of the summer so every rag rug we have has dirt on it from the dogs. I would love to see if this could stand up to those stains.

    Blessings,
    Tracy

I just got my soap nuts last week from NaturOli. Thank you so much for the recommendation. They are wonderful!! I have a new HE washer and do not want all the suds. My clothes feel better with these nuts than with fabric softener. I crocheted some little nut bags and sent some to a few friends to try.
I would love to try the liquid. I read it these nuts are a natural insect repellent and I would like to bathe my dog in it and make my family some “OFF.”

    Thanks Lindsay.

  14. Jill August 3, 2009 at 3:04 pm #

Everytime I see soap nuts at the store, I’m tempted to try them out. I’d love to win this giveaway!

  15. Angie Johnson August 3, 2009 at 2:54 pm #

I keep looking at the NaturOli site & can’t decide if I want to try the soap nuts or the liquid. I would love a sample. I guess I could make my own cleaner & dishwasher soap from the nuts, but a liquid concentrate might be easier to start with. Any thoughts?

definitely going to try the soap nuts – as soon as I use up my current jug of detergent! I love the whole idea, and once again thank you for your blog – it’s been such an inspiration and blessing since I started reading it a few months ago…

I would love to try soap nuts!

  113. Becky August 3, 2009 at 4:59 am #

I tried soapnuts after reading your first post about them. I had run out of detergent for my diapers right before vacation and ran into the natural food store to get some. I saw them on the shelf and decided to give them a try. I never would have if I hadn’t read your review. They work great with our diapers and a very easy to use. I also love that I can compost them too. Using them with diapers I don’t get as many uses out of them as I can with other clothes but it’s still worth the price in comparison to some options I’ve used. Thanks for all the great suggestions. I’m always in search of more cost effective and environmentally friendly ways to do things!

  114. slawebb August 3, 2009 at 4:59 am #

Yikes! That’s a lot of comments. I don’t think I even have 20 people who read my blog. Keeping my fingers crossed!

  119. Jennifer August 3, 2009 at 3:32 am #

I haven’t tried Soap Nuts yet, but I’d really like to. I bought a 22-gallon pail of powdered laundry detergent from Sam’s Club six months ago, but I’d like to try alternatives that are better for the environment and for us. I have very sensitive skin and we just moved to a home with a well and water softener.

  120. Megan August 3, 2009 at 3:23 am #

I haven’t tried these yet, but have been curious since you first mentioned them. Currently I have been using a homemade laundry soap.

After 8 children and 17 years of laundering, I am tired of the way conventional detergent doesn’t work. I am intrigued by the soap nuts concept, but the budget is tight right now. I’d love to give it a try.
Thank you for your blog, Lindsay. It is so refreshing to see young women take their role as managers of their homes seriously and for the glory of God.
I’m thinking about online college for one child and potty-training the 8th at the same time….with everything else in between! Wheeee!

  124. Maggy August 2, 2009 at 10:46 pm #

I would enjoy the chance to try these out. I’ve heard of soap nuts before and I must admit that I’ve been a bit skeptical about them, due to the non liquid nature. However this liquid form seems right up my alley. I keep trying to find the most natural cleaners that I can find, especially those that go down the drain. Clean water is a particular issue for me.

Also I would like to be able to try them out first before I make the monetary investment. Trying to be frugal!

  125. Amanda Cross August 2, 2009 at 10:30 pm #

I have never heard of soap nuts before this post. This definitely sounds like something I would like to try. I have a few family members that have began making their own laundry soap. If this product works well and is cost efficient, it might be worth recommending.

  126. Amy August 2, 2009 at 9:28 pm #

Would love to try these as they are natural and have the potential to condense our current cleaning means!

  130. Misty August 2, 2009 at 7:58 pm #

I have heard of soapnuts before but didn’t really understand them that well. This website has given me helpful information to see how they work and I would definetly like to try them. I’ve been wanting to make the switch to a more natural green life for our family, especially since my husband has very sensitive skin and my son has psoriasis. I like how you can use it for clothes, dishes, cleaning, and it seems so many other possiblities. Wow!

I actually saw a segment on our local news this afternoon, and it prompted me to start researching soap nuts. In speaking with a good friend, she steered me to your website.

Call me silly, but I was so intrigued by the information on both the news and your site that I’ve actually already placed my order! Still I can’t pass up the opportunity to try it for free, or pass it along to friends and family.

    thanks for sponsoring the giveaway!!

  143. Jessica Telian August 2, 2009 at 6:18 pm #

I bought a 2 lb. bag of soap nuts after reading about them on your blog and have LOVED using them! My husband is a carpenter and therefore often gets his work clothes really dirty and the soap nuts clean them very well. We’re expecting our first little one in January and I can’t wait to use the soap nuts on our cloth diapers… Thank you so much for blogging about them! Have a lovely day!

  144. Julie August 2, 2009 at 6:12 pm #

I love soap nuts and would definitely like to try the liquid form. Thanks.

  145. Elisabeth August 2, 2009 at 6:09 pm #

I LOVE using soap nuts! I’ve been using them to wash diapers for a little over a month now with great results. I also make liquid myself (per instructions from Natur Oli) to use in my dishwasher – and it works so much better than the stuff we were using before – no residue or problems with build-up in the DW.
BTW, you can buy Natur Oli Soap Nuts Pieces on Amazon.com & save a bundle. They are mostly 1/2 shells, but still very easy to count out the number you need.

  146. Mandy August 2, 2009 at 6:00 pm #

I haven’t tried them before, but would love to have the chance. Thanks!

I ordered a bag of soap nuts after reading about them on your blog. I love them!! I ordered extra muslin bags and have been giving them to my friends. I will soon be ordering my second bag–but I might just give the liquid a try.

  154. Aelinn August 2, 2009 at 4:49 pm #

I was just thinking about your other soapnuts post and came back to read about why you don’t recommend Mountain Rose’s product, so this giveaway is pretty exciting for me!

    http://justaelinn.blogspot.com/2009/08/if-you-want-to-try-soap-nuts.html

    • Christopher Sicurella August 3, 2009 at 2:11 pm #

      Hi Aelinn,

Good question! I’ve been assisting Lindsay with some of her research. MRH is a very good company (we buy various ingredients from them for other products). Soap nuts are not mainstream for them and they are selling NON-deseeded Tifoliatus (I ordered some myself because they were so cheap that it didn’t make sense to me). I even wrote an article about it because I never want to see someone have a bad experience. Trifoliatus with seeds will definitely not make for a good experience. There is a lot to know about Sapindus tree fruits. People are just starting to learn about them. Lindsay is doing a great job of getting her facts straight. Here’s a link to that article:

I have really been wanting to try soap nuts, and this sounds like a more convenient option than having to soak the nuts each time (since I wash almost everything in cold water). I would love to be entered to win.

  157. Laura C August 2, 2009 at 4:23 pm #

I would love to be entered! I have used Allen’s Naturally so far, but after it is gone I am planning to branch out a bit and try things like Soap Nuts, Charlies Soap, etc. to find my favorite natural soap. Thanks for the giveaway!

  158. Dana August 2, 2009 at 4:19 pm #

I’ve been meaning to order some soap nuts and just about convinced my mom and a friend to “go in” on a bulk order when I saw your post! LIQUID soap nuts? Very cool. I love that it’s such a small bottle compared to almost all the regular available detergents. And I like that you can dilute it for an all-purpose spray cleaner. Thanks for alerting us to such a great product!

  159. Carrie D August 2, 2009 at 4:13 pm #

I tried soap nuts after your first post and giveaway about them. I really really liked them!! I definitely want to get more and am excited about how they will clean my soon-to-be-newborn’s cloth diapers!

  160. Natasha August 2, 2009 at 4:12 pm #

P.s. I also linked this post to my blog, here: http://justlivinglearningloving.blogspot.com/2009/08/back-in-and-here-to-talk-about-soap.html

  161. Natasha August 2, 2009 at 4:11 pm #

Since reading your reviews on soap nuts, I did purchase the smallest bunch. I have tried the once and found that they cleaned the clothes just fine! I added some of my favorite essential oil scent, and loved the way the clothes smelled. I am going to use up the rest of my laundry detergent, but then I may make the switch completely over to soap nuts. I am always looking for more frugal ways to get things clean and not to mention use up less space. My husband and I live in a studio apartment and have to be quite creative for storing things, so using a product that is all-in-one (the liquid detergent) sounds amazing! Thank you for doing all of the research and sharing your knowledge.

  162. Heather August 2, 2009 at 4:08 pm #

I’d like to be entered- I’ve heard of soap nuts before but haven’t tried them yet. How much of the liquid would you use for cloth diapers & how do you use the regular soap nuts w/ cloth? Thanks!

I haven’t had a chance to try soap nuts yet, but would love to do so. I am a stay at home mommy of 2 and make all of my own household cleaners. It is nice to know what chemicals are not in my house when my teething baby puts things in her mouth.

What a blessing to hear of such a neat product! Our family of 7 would be very blessed to try Soap Nuts.

I saw these a few months back in an all-natural food store. I was very intrigued by the idea, but was not sure if I could risk spending the money to try them. I would love to have the opportunity to share this great product with others.

I will send a link to your site on my blog.
    Thanks!

    Joyfully Nutty,
    Shannon

    Thanks again. God bless, Anita

Yay I’d love to be entered to win the 18x, I tried to win the actual soap nuts before with no luck…I haven’t tried the soap nuts yet but would love to! Right now I am currently using my homemade laundry soap but since your post on Borax I’ve been looking for other options, this would be great.
I don’t have a blog but I am posting this on my facebook page, Rebekah Butler Soriano. Thanks :)

  238. Amy @ Finer Things August 1, 2009 at 8:45 pm #

I started making my own laundry soap a few months ago, but have never been really happy with it. When I first saw Soap Nuts, I quickly put them in my Amazon.com shopping cart… but I haven’t taken the plunge. Would love to win a trial bottle!

  239. Mandi August 1, 2009 at 8:43 pm #

I’ve been interested in soap nuts for a while now, and your post a while back was very helpful. My husband has really sensitive skin and allergies, so I hope it will be even better for him then the “free” stuff. The 18x stuff sounds pretty neat too, and you can even use it for other cleaning?!? Now, I’ve just got to wait til I’m out of detergent or I win.

  240. sara August 1, 2009 at 8:34 pm #

wow! I definitely want to try this…it sounds amazing!

  241. Jeannine August 1, 2009 at 8:27 pm #

I actually have used soap nuts and I loved them. A sample of the liquid would be great to try as an alternative.

I would love to try this! With allergies in our family we have to be so careful about what we use, so I would love to try this!

  243. CarolQ August 1, 2009 at 8:20 pm #

I found you through Stumbleupon regarding fruit flies and ants. You are my hero if this works like it looks like it will! I’ve never heard of soap-nuts and since I have a front-load washer, I have to use HD detergents. Where can I find this product; oops, I better look at the soap-nuts FAQ page. Many thanks, I’ll be back for sure!!

  244. Amie August 1, 2009 at 8:18 pm #

Thanks Lindsay! I purchased Soap Nuts from Naturoli after you blogged about them and I’m extremely pleased with the results, they clean well, even our smelly gym clothes which is the true test. The only thing that annoys me is that you have to catch the rinse cycle and remove them. So I’m extremely excited at this new option of liquid soap nuts, I really hope I win a sample but I’m sure I’ll end up buying some once all my soap nuts are gone. Thanks for keeping us all informed on your research and testing!

Would love to try the concentrate!!!
I haven’t tried soap nuts yet as my husband is a little reluctant. (I wanted to order a large supply to save more $) This would be a great way for us to try it so he can see that he loves it and then I can order in bulk :)

OOH! I would love to try these! I have read your other entries about it and I was very interested. Good luck with the potty training :) We are having a go at it ourselves! It is challenging with a newborn at home, but I think we can do it!

  272. Cindy August 1, 2009 at 6:05 pm #

I would love to try the soap nuts liquid. I’ve trying to get a natural dishwasher detergent that REALLY cleans well and I’ve been frustrated so far. I came to your site looking for your detergent recipe! Also, we always need gentle laundry alternatives for our sensitive/allergic family clothes and the cloth diapers. And it’s less junk in the ground from our septic system.
    Thanks!

  273. Leslie Trontvet August 1, 2009 at 6:01 pm #

Yay!! Another give-away. I’ve still never tried soap nuts, but I would love the chance to see what they’re all about.

  274. Becky August 1, 2009 at 5:54 pm #

I haven’t tried soap nuts, but I’ve been intrigued since your previous giveaway. I especially interested in the liquid because I like the idea of using it in the dishwasher.

  275. Amanda Galeotti August 1, 2009 at 5:27 pm #

Would love to try the 18x! We currently use Charlie’s Soap, but would love something that takes less space.

  276. Amy M August 1, 2009 at 5:25 pm #

I have not yet tried soap nuts! It seems very convenient since you can use it in the wash, dishwasher, and for daily cleaning. I would love to be entered in the giveaway. Love your blog!

  277. Colleen August 1, 2009 at 5:24 pm #

I have been interested in trying soap nuts… waiting until my detergent is out before buying. It would be fun to try this version. Thanks!

  278. Gina August 1, 2009 at 5:23 pm #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but need to just go ahead and do it! Thanks for another great resource.

  279. Rachel August 1, 2009 at 5:22 pm #

I have never tried soap nuts, but I would love the opportunity! They seem like an interesting alternative to regular detergent. I just wonder if you can really use as little as they say you can. I know I never seem to get as much out of the 2X or 3X bottles of regular detergent that are sold at the store.

  280. Debbie August 1, 2009 at 5:21 pm #

I live in Fla. and I have never heard of soap nuts before I read about it in your blog. It sounds really interesting and we have been looking for more ways of going green. I would love the opportunity to try them out.

  281. Tammy August 1, 2009 at 5:21 pm #

I am very interested in trying soap nuts especially after reading what you said above about it being good for hard water (ours is terrible) and that it works in the dishwasher as well! I’ve given up on my dishwasher for months now because I can not find something I felt is safe to use in it and that will work in my very hard water. What a blessing it would be if it worked good, I’d gain about an hour back everyday doing dishes by hand! Sorry I don’t have a blog at the moment :( but thanks for the chance to win the sample.

  282. Jennifer R. August 1, 2009 at 5:18 pm #

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to try this for my laundry! My son has a chemical sensitivity, so finding a good laundry detergent is hard to do. Thanks!

  283. Heidi Crawford August 1, 2009 at 5:18 pm #

i have always wanted to try these. I am always looking for new non chemical ways to clean and keep my house. thanks for this great opportunity to try something new!

  284. Kimberli August 1, 2009 at 5:13 pm #

I would love to try the liquid version. I have been using soap nuts the last month thanks to your recommendation. So far I have enjoyed them. I think the liquid would be more convenient, in that you would not have to worry about finding the little “bag” of nuts before putting the clothes in the dryer. Does the liquid clean about the same?
It is great to use something that I know is natural and better for the environment!

  285. Amy August 1, 2009 at 5:11 pm #

I haven’t tried them yet, so please enter me in the giveaway! :) I’d love to give them a shot.

  286. Allison August 1, 2009 at 5:10 pm #

I ordered the soap nuts after reading your previous post. While they work well, I found it frustrating to have to find the baggie of nuts while loading the dryer. Somehow they’d find their way deep into a sleeve or other fabulous hiding spot. Also my children are helping switch over the laundry and it’s even more challenging for them to remember and then find the bag. A liquid version would take that issue out of the mix. Sounds fabulous! (Oh and how does it impact the nuts when they do get dried in the dryer, as it’s happened more than I’d care to admit?)

  287. Kate August 1, 2009 at 5:10 pm #

Sounds cool. Want to be entered in giveaway. Good idea!

  288. Amy August 1, 2009 at 5:01 pm #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I would love to try them as I research what to use for washing cloth diapers when our baby is born.

  289. Cassie August 1, 2009 at 4:59 pm #

I would love to be entered in the giveaway….I am just using up the last of the detergent that I already have and then I am totaly ordering Soap Nuts!

  290. Kim August 1, 2009 at 4:58 pm #

Count me in. I have never tried them before, but would love to. With 2 loads of laundry going a day, anything helps.

  291. Kelly August 1, 2009 at 4:56 pm #

Your blog is the first time I’ve heard of soap nuts. Sound interesting. I’d like to be entered. Thanks!

  292. Lindsey August 1, 2009 at 4:56 pm #

Oh I’d love to try this liquid soapnuts product–it will be perfect for our washing needs on the extended trip we’ll be taking! Thanks for the giveaway!

  293. Heather August 1, 2009 at 4:53 pm #

I tried the soap nuts and liked them. I think I would like the liquid even better. It would be easier to use and I’m a big fan of a multi-tasking product.

  294. Ginny August 1, 2009 at 4:53 pm #

I have not tried soap nuts. I have been making my own detergent and am not very happy with the results. I’d love to try soap nuts!

  295. Jennifer K August 1, 2009 at 4:52 pm #

I sooooooooo want to try this! I still have some soap left because I have been making my own (with borax) but I really want to stop using the borax (and the frugal person that I am has to use it all up). I have REALLY wanted to try the soap nuts, but even more so now that you say you can use it in the dishwasher! My husband won’t let me use the dishwasher because he doesn’t like how my “natural” stuff cleans (or lack thereof) and I’d love to have something that works (and fits both purposes!!!). Please please please enter me in the give-away! Thanks so much!

  296. Stephanie August 1, 2009 at 4:48 pm #

I tried the soap nuts after reading about them on your blog. I really liked the way they cleaned my clothes and love the environmental impact :o ) I’d love to try the liquid concentrate though. That sounds like a fantastic product. Thanks so much for such a great blog. I learn so much here!

  297. Donna August 1, 2009 at 4:47 pm #

I friend told me about soap nuts. When I was looking on line about them I found your wonderful site. Please put my name in for the giveway. Thanks.

  298. Elizabeth August 1, 2009 at 4:44 pm #

I’m also interested in trying soap nuts but am going to try your homemade laundry detergent first.

  299. Erin August 1, 2009 at 4:43 pm #

    Lindsay,

I have a bag of soap nuts in my laundry room that I ordered from Amazon.com last month, which will be used when I finish the bottle of (overpriced, but at least it on sale) Seventh Generation laundry detergent. I can’t wait to use them in my HE washer as I’ve already tried them in my dishwasher (along with your homemade recipe for dishwasher detergent) with great success!

Thanks again for this wonderful blog. I always look forward to your informative and thought-provoking posts!

    Erin

Okay, I’ve never heard of a soap nut but would like to give it a try…especially if it help curb cost of getting clothes clean….naturally. Please enter me in. Thanks!

  302. Wendi August 1, 2009 at 4:26 pm #

I am experimenting with soap nuts. It’s hard getting used to no suds because I equate suds with clean clothes. With a family of 10, I do 2-3 loads per day and am trying to find the most cost effective laundry soap. I would love to try the Extreme 18X because sometimes the soap nuts come out of the bag during the wash and get lost or end up in the dryer.

  303. Teresa Novak August 1, 2009 at 4:23 pm #

I have been wanting to try soap nuts, but I think I might be more comfortable using this liquid detergent. I’d like to be entered in the giveaway. Thanks for the chance.

  304. Alison Hillard August 1, 2009 at 4:20 pm #

    Hi Lindsay,
I have tried the Soap Nuts per your recommendation, and I really liked them. I haven’t tried the concentrated liquid. Thanks for the chance to win!

  305. Clarissa August 1, 2009 at 4:19 pm #

I would love to win some. Thanks!

  306. Alison August 1, 2009 at 4:16 pm #

I still haven’t tried soap nuts, but since I’m running out of my Seventh Generation laundry detergent, I think I’ll order some. But maybe I’ll win the giveaway first! :-)

  307. June August 1, 2009 at 4:07 pm #

That is great – another fantastic opportunity. I did purchase the soap nuts based on previous discussions. We still purchase deodorant and the regular soap nuts do not seem to remove the deodorant smell or residue from our cloths very well. Any suggestions?

If I would still qualify I would love to be entered in the drawing for the liquid. I would like to try it for other cleaning purposes!

  308. Sarah August 1, 2009 at 4:02 pm #

I am just starting to try and simplify the way we live in our home, by trying different products and using less. I have never tried soap nuts, but I would love to. I havent really found a product that I feel like cleans our clothes well enough to give up my old laundry detergent. How long have you been using this?:)

    • Lindsay August 1, 2009 at 5:26 pm #

We have been using it for about two months now.

  309. -C August 1, 2009 at 4:01 pm #

I would like to win these for my wife. Thanks for hosting this contest!

  310. ~M August 1, 2009 at 4:00 pm #

Please enter me into the giveaway! By the way, is it cheaper per load to use the nuts or the 18x liquid? Thanks!

    • Lindsay August 1, 2009 at 5:27 pm #

The nuts are cheaper than the liquid version, but then again it really depends upon the size you purchase and how many loads it extends for. Sometimes you can use less.

  311. Melissa August 1, 2009 at 4:00 pm #

  313. Tera August 1, 2009 at 3:51 pm #

I would love to try soap nuts! I am new to natural cleaning products, but I have been reading about them on your blog lately. I have just been using Costco’s environmentally friendly detergent, but environmentally friendly isn’t the same as natural! I’ve learned so much from your blog- thanks for all of the great information!

  314. Jessica Brammer| Losing the World August 1, 2009 at 3:47 pm #

I really want to try soap nuts, but am unable to at the moment because of where I live. I would love a healthy, frugal detergent, especially for my cloth diapers. Thanks for the giveaway.

  315. Kara August 1, 2009 at 3:47 pm #

I have never tried soap nuts, but am going to be using cloth diapers on my little girl that is due in 7 weeks and will be needing a good natural detergent for them. I also love anything that is multi-purpose to make my home more simple! I would love to try a sample of this soap nuts!

I’ve used soap nuts, since I read about them on your site. I think they’re great for laundry, but haven’t had much success with them for dishwashing.

  319. Charlee August 1, 2009 at 3:33 pm #

I am interested in trying the liquid form of soapnuts! I am just soo thrilled at the simplicity and the natural aspect of it… Thanks Lindsay for doing several posts on your discovery! I love reading your blog.

I have not yet tried soap nuts, but I’d love to. I’m just about to try a batch of my own first homemade laundry detergent using simple ingredients. I’m always looking for ways to both be frugal and natural as I’m raising my two young daughters (2 1/2 and 10 months) and caring for my husband and home. Unrelated note: our daughter is just getting over the big hump of potty training and I think we’ve learned a lot, especially in the area of how we need the Lord to fill us with patience, understanding, and gentleness as we teach and train our children! My prayers are with you as you potty train! Thanks for your blog! It’s been fun reading.

  326. Tami August 1, 2009 at 3:05 pm #

I’ve never tried them, but would love to!

  327. Nicole August 1, 2009 at 3:02 pm #

I definitely want to try them, but haven’t yet. Hmmm…maybe I’ll win this!!!!

  328. Jen Daubenspeck August 1, 2009 at 2:57 pm #

I have been wanting to try soap nuts for some time now. I have tried making my own with borax, fels soap and soda wash but it didn’t get all those grass stained dirty little boys clothes very clean. :-) Now I am using Sun and Earth liquid detergent with so so results. Soap nuts sounds so natural and inexpensive and I would especially love it if it would get my boys clothes clean!!
By the way, I really enjoy reading your web site and trying some of your ideas. Thank you!!

I love soap nuts!! Would love to try the liquid!

  332. Betsy August 1, 2009 at 2:48 pm #

Oh, wow!! I’m so glad I saw this. Cleaning and laundry products are next on my list to convert from the conventional “stuff”. Having a sample to try would be awesome – and hopefully a good way to also convert my DH. :)

I have never tried Soap Nuts, but I am very interested in them! I would love to try it on my cloth diapers!

  343. Tristan August 1, 2009 at 2:01 pm #

Please do NOT enter me but I wanted to put a quick post up about soapnuts. I bought some from NaturOli and unfortunately within two weeks of using them all our BumGenius 3.0 cloth diapers (over 50 diapers) were repelling water and leaking at every diaper change. I have been in communication with the company and will be getting a refund, but they first tried to say it must be something else. However I have used cloth diapers every day for nearly 4 years (I’ve got 5 kids, so typically 2 or 3 kids in diapers at once), and these specific cloth diapers for over a year with the exact same wash routine and no leaking issues. The only change was the soapnuts.

However, if you are not using cloth diapers, go for soapnuts! It doesn’t matter if a shirt repels water :)

    • Lindsay August 1, 2009 at 5:38 pm #

Let me just share that this is pretty normal when changing diaper detergents. I have had this similar experience when I changed from two different detergents. It seems like it takes several washes for the diapers to get completely stripped of the other detergents. There usually is some build up it seems.

  344. Heather August 1, 2009 at 1:59 pm #

I have been trying to replace all of my household cleaning products with natural alternatives and would love to try soap nuts!

  345. Arianna August 1, 2009 at 1:56 pm #

I am very interested! I am planning on cloth diapering next spring and am looking for the best soap for the job.

  346. Andrew August 1, 2009 at 1:52 pm #

    I haven’t tried soapnuts yet.

  347. Betsy August 1, 2009 at 1:51 pm #

I have been making my own laundry detergent for almost a year now. It works well, but I would love to have a great back-up (for those days when I am out of detergent, but don’t have time to make it). I first hear of soap nuts on your blog and love them so far. I would like to try the oil, so I hope I win!! :)

  348. Sarah August 1, 2009 at 1:51 pm #

I’d love to be entered. I haven’t tried them yet, but either want to try some or make detergent from your recipe before the school year starts.

  349. Jackie August 1, 2009 at 1:50 pm #

I think the liquid sounds interesting. I have a front loading high efficiency machine and would like to try this. Thanks!

  350. Debbie Perkins August 1, 2009 at 1:50 pm #

I haven’t tried Soap Nuts yet, but I’d love to. I always hate filling up the normal laundry cups all the way to the top; it just seems unnessesary. I like that just a little bit goes a long way with Soap Nuts!

  351. Diana (Ladybug Limited) August 1, 2009 at 1:49 pm #

I would love to try soap nuts. I haven’t yet because I read somewhere that they don’t seem to work quite as well with cold water and I only wash on cold! I would love to use something 100% natural though.

  352. Erin August 1, 2009 at 1:43 pm #

    Hello!

  354. Christine August 1, 2009 at 1:35 pm #

I have not tried soap nuts, but have been reading up on it and am very interested. My husband does a lot of mechanical work so his work clothes get pretty nasty. I am interested to see what it could do for that, and for my almost two year old who loves to wear alot of her food! Thanks!

  355. Adrea August 1, 2009 at 1:28 pm #

Wow, please enter me into the giveaway!!! I have been thus far experimenting with the things in my kitchen to make an all natural cleaner for laundry and all else in an effort to simplify my life and the life of my family’s. I read your blog on soap nuts and was instantly intrigued. I would love the opportunity to try it first hand!

  356. Jessica Hoch August 1, 2009 at 1:18 pm #

I’ve been wanting to try soapnuts. I recently made my own detergent, but am not thoroughly pleased with it…. Thanks for the giveaway! Your blog continues to be a blessing to me. Jessica

  358. Brooke August 1, 2009 at 1:11 pm #

I have tried and use soap nuts daily. i.love.them.especially on our dipes. I would have never learned about them had I not been following your blog. I’m very much interested in trying the liquid version. Thanks so much :)

  359. Melissa August 1, 2009 at 1:11 pm #

I would love to try this product. This seems easier to use in the liquid form. How does it do with stains? Do you spray some on the stain before washing? I have been experimenting with making my own laundry soap and I can’t seem to get stains out. Just wondering. Thanks!

    • Lindsay August 1, 2009 at 5:32 pm #

It is pretty standard when it comes to stains. I have found pretreating with a little dishsoap has been key. If I scrub the stain down with dishsoap and then let it sit for 5 minutes and then throw it in the wash it comes out perfectly clean! Love it!

  360. Heidi August 1, 2009 at 1:09 pm #

I really want to try soap nuts so I would love to win this!

  361. Stephanie Terrell August 1, 2009 at 1:08 pm #

I haven’t tried soapnuts yet. I love to see how it works for me. And in the dishwasher…. finding good green dishwashing stuff has been a long drawn out process!

  362. Christa Strang August 1, 2009 at 1:06 pm #

I am interested in trying this, I was intrigued by the soap nuts, but a liquid would be something that I would use and would be healthier for our 15 month old twins. Please enter me in the giveaway!
    Thank you!!

  363. Jen August 1, 2009 at 1:05 pm #

I’d love to give this a try. I just discovered the old world fun of using soapwort or saponica flowers and leaves sprinkled in a basin to wash when outdoors (or anywhere, really). Go, saponica!

  364. Jayna August 1, 2009 at 1:05 pm #

I would love to try soap nuts. I love anything that is green and can do more than one task.

  369. Meredith August 1, 2009 at 12:55 pm #

I have been dying to try soap nuts, but as someone new to the whole clean and green cleaning, I was a little uncertain about putting the berries into my laundry and expecting it to be clean. I think this liquid is a great middle ground between the two and would be easy to do with the communal laundry room in my apartment.
Thank you so much for this offer!
    Yours,
    Meredith

  380. Jennifer August 1, 2009 at 12:24 pm #

Would love to try this product. I’ve been using soap nuts for about a month now. Love them! I have five children and do a lot of laundry. The soap nuts are working great for us. What a great offer!

  381. Jaime August 1, 2009 at 12:24 pm #

I’ve actually been contemplating getting a trial size of the soap nuts to try but hadn’t done it yet! This would be the perfect chance to try it for free–thanks for the opportunity! And, as always, thank you, thank you, thank you for your blog!! It always inspires me to try new things, strive to be more like Christ in my homemaking and reminds me that I can be faithful, frugal and green all at once!!

  382. Mindy August 1, 2009 at 12:23 pm #

Oh, I was hoping the giveaway you’d hinted about would be something to do with soap nuts! I would love to try this product. I have not yet used any soap nuts or soap nuts product, but it sounds wonderful. It’s been a challenge to find affordable natural detergents that are a wise choice. I had begun to make them myself, but I was using Borax. After reading your post about the questionable side effects of Borax, I’ve discontinued making detergents… So this is a wonderful chance to try something I really need! :)

  383. Katie August 1, 2009 at 12:19 pm #

I’ve been reading about soap nuts but have yet to buy any. I love that there is a natural soap detergent out there!

  387. Kimberly Hanson August 1, 2009 at 12:09 pm #

Oooh, soap nuts! I’ve never tried it before but it sounds like a much needed way to naturally clean clothes! Perfect for our 5 month old son. I’m very curious to see how it works!

  388. Alene August 1, 2009 at 12:08 pm #

Very excited to try this. Sounds easier than reusing the nuts.

  389. Heidi August 1, 2009 at 12:05 pm #

  391. Rose August 1, 2009 at 12:03 pm #

I would love to be entered to win. I’ve been thinking more about all the chemicals we use in our home and if they are really necessary. I’m interested in trying an alternative to Tide but haven’t gone searching for one or tried to make my own detergent yet.

Your blog has been very inspiring and thought-provoking. Keep it up!

  392. Susan August 1, 2009 at 12:02 pm #

Blogged it at http://yooperdeals.blogspot.com/2009/08/soap-nuts-liquid-detergent-extreme-18x.html. Was wondering if you have Daylight Savings Time as you posted it ends at 5pm PST on the 4th…that would actually mean 4pm your time, wouldn’t it, with the hour time change this past spring??? Just checking. :) I posted exactly like you did, just in case.

  401. Brandi August 1, 2009 at 11:35 am #

I am interested in trying the soap nuts too! I make our laundry detergent, but it contains borax and fels naptha soap, which I am growing concerned about. Plus I can’t use it on diapers. So to simplify and have something all natural would be great! Thanks, and I love your blog!

  402. Kelly August 1, 2009 at 11:35 am #

I ordered soap nuts a couple weeks ago and they have cleaned just as well as my previous store boughten soap and homemade soap. I love that you just put them in your compost bin when they no longer work, nothing to recycle or throw away.

Due to being thrifty I intend to use it up before we try your other alternative recipe! ;) But I really do like the idea of using something that is such a natural resource! It would a wonderful opportunity to try them!

Thank you for always inspiring and offering such a wonderful gift! Have a wonderful day!

I read your previous posts about soap nuts and was very curious to try it out. But of course I haven’t gotten around to it yet :) This would be the perfect opportunity for me to give it a try. With three small boys and a mechanically inclined husband there certainly is no shortage of dirty laundry in our home. I’m always looking for ways to get the clothes clean without all the harsh chemicals. Thank you for offering this give away.

i am excited about this! i have longed for a natural alternative to detergent and i’ve never even heard of soap nuts until finding your blog (which by the way, has answered a lot of prayer for help and wisdom as I am 22, married, and am doing all i know to love the Lord and obey His commands to me as a wife and homemaker… with hardly any idea of what I’m doing!). i would love a sample of this and plan to look at their website for more info. thank you and bless you for all your labor.

  433. Melynda August 1, 2009 at 10:37 am #

Just stumbled onto your blog and think I’ll become a regular reader! I’ve never tried soap nuts, but I’d love to. Love that it is natural AND that it can be used on diapers and regular laundry.

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  434. cris August 1, 2009 at 10:35 am #

I have not tried soap nuts yet, but plan to as soon as I run out of my current detergent. I would love to win a sample! I’m excited to know that you can use these for your dishes also. Thanks for the opportunity!

  435. Emily August 1, 2009 at 10:33 am #

I’ve been using soap nuts for a little over a month now. I’m interested in seeing the difference between the regular nuts and the concentrated detergent. My son had serious skin reactions to our old detergent, but natural alternatives were extremely expensive, so we’re real thankful for soap nuts. And they get my husband’s work pants cleaner than any other detergent we’ve used. Thanks for pointing us in this direction!

  436. Amanda August 1, 2009 at 10:31 am #

    Okay, Posted on my blog!

  437. Evelyn August 1, 2009 at 10:28 am #

  439. Amanda August 1, 2009 at 10:27 am #

I have been anxious to try soap nuts, but haven’t yet. I would love to try the liquid version, as part of what intimidates me is the different-ness of using soap nuts…I know, sad excuse, right?!

I’ll be back to post again when I link from my blog :) Thanks, Lindsay!

  440. Julie August 1, 2009 at 10:25 am #

I’ve not yet tried, but have considered…would love to win them!

  446. Sarah R. August 1, 2009 at 10:15 am #

I found your website a few months ago and have appreciated your recipes for homemade household cleaners as well as your general perspective on life, parenting, caring for your home etc. I keep trying different homemade laundry detergents but have yet to find one that I think does a really good job on all our clothes as well as the cloth diapers. I want to be frugal and care for the earth but I want clean clothes as well. :-) These soap nuts look very interesting and worth a try. Thanks for the info!

  447. Suzann August 1, 2009 at 10:15 am #

I haven’t tried them yet, but I am certainly interested. I’m always looking out for more frugal ways to wash our clothes!

  448. Nicole August 1, 2009 at 10:13 am #

I’ve never tried soapnuts, but am intrigued by the concept. Seems to go along well with hanging laundry to dry in this hot August sun!

  449. Jenney August 1, 2009 at 10:03 am #

I have not tried soap nuts before, but am always interested in trying new natural alternatives in my house!

Oooooh, liquid soap nuts, Awesome! Seems so versatile – great tips on all the possible applications. This may be a future household staple for us, would love to try it out!

  451. Megan August 1, 2009 at 10:01 am #

I’m interested in trying the soap nuts–I was a little hesitant before about trying the actual nuts in case they rotted, but I think I might give the liquid a try!

  452. Mandy August 1, 2009 at 9:56 am #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet as we currently use Charlie’s Soap for our clothes and cloth diapers. However, I’m interested!

  453. Angela August 1, 2009 at 9:56 am #

I have purchased a bag of soap nuts and LOVE them! I am amazed at how soft and clean they leave my clothes. I’d love to try out the laundry detergent and even more so in my dishwasher! Thanks!

  454. Heather August 1, 2009 at 9:55 am #

I’ve been wanting to try soap nuts. I just haven’t quite got around to buying any of them yet. I’d like to use something more natural.

  455. Christie August 1, 2009 at 9:51 am #

I would love to win this soap nuts sample! My husband has severe eczema, so I have to be very selective in choosing laundry detergent, which can become pricey! Thanks for the info!

  456. tarena August 1, 2009 at 9:50 am #

This is so cool! I really like soap nuts! I haven’t tried them yet and I was just about to buy some now that my laundry soap is almost gone-but it is wonderful that they are so good for the environment!
The liquid version looks even easier!
Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

  457. Rebekah August 1, 2009 at 9:47 am #

  460. Leah August 1, 2009 at 9:38 am #

  461. Alicia Johnson August 1, 2009 at 9:33 am #

I haven’t tried it yet, but would love to! My baby has very sensitive skin, so soap nuts sound like a good option–Dreft gets pricey! Especially with all the cloth diapers . . .

  462. Megan August 1, 2009 at 9:32 am #

I really want to try Soap Nuts, they just haven’t been in the budget yet. But I’d like to get going on them before we have kids and diapers to wash!

  464. Heather Q August 1, 2009 at 9:28 am #

I read about soap nuts when I was engaged and looking for ways to be green, healthy, frugal in my new household. Unfortunately my now-husband is a little resistant to my “hippie stuff” so I have to sneak it in when I can! (he looks at my Dr. Bronners, ACV, coconut oil, etc like its a biohazard) Alas, I never got around to buying soap nuts. Now we have a newborn daughter and I hate using even baby-safe detergent on her cloth diapers. This liquid form isnt as “hippie” as the actual nut so I think DH might not roll his eyes at me for this purchase! I absolutely love everything about your blog and recommend it to all my friends who are interested in simple living and christian living.

  465. Sarah R August 1, 2009 at 9:26 am #

I have not tried soap nuts but would really like to in the future. Thanks for this offer!

  466. gaylei August 1, 2009 at 9:24 am #

ohhh, i’d love to try them!

  467. Mrs. R August 1, 2009 at 9:23 am #

I absolutely love soap nuts, not just for laundry, but as a dish soap and all purpose cleaner, too. I checked out the new Naturoli concentrate, but after doing the math, it is MUCH more expensive than simply purchasing my own soapnuts and making the soapnut soak as I do now. I purchase my soapnuts at Whole Foods, and one $14 bag yields 150 loads of laundry with no preservatives, versus $17.95 (plus a minimum of $4.26 shipping) and added preservatives for only 48 loads in our standard washer. Granted, as preservatives go, the Naturoli ones are not too bad, but they’re still there. As convenient as I’m sure this product is, it just seems a bit of a luxury, especially as we’re striving to live as simply, healthfully and frugally as possible. That said, I could see using this product if I were going to be traveling and didn’t want to have to lug a jar of soapnut soak with me, but for the cost savings, I’d probably just pack a few nuts and soak them at my destination. :-)

  468. Heidi August 1, 2009 at 9:23 am #

I would love to be entered in the drawing for the soap nuts. I have not tried them before.

  473. Angel August 1, 2009 at 9:07 am #

I’d love to try this! I make my own laundry det. now, but I am getting frustrated that it isn’t cleaning my husband’s VERY dirty work clothes very well! My whites are also getting pretty dingy (especially his white t-shirts for work). Thanks so much for the giveaway! If I don’t win, hopefully I’ll be able to afford trying them out myself.

  474. Tracy August 1, 2009 at 9:01 am #

I’m really interested in trying soap nuts, but haven’t had the chance yet.

  482. gojigirl August 1, 2009 at 8:45 am #

I haven’t tried soapnuts yet, but am very curious. :) I have very sensitive skin, and use cloth diapers for my toddler (and this fall when my newborn is here!) I have awful municipal water and this combined with my previous allergic reactions to laundry products has made me scared to try new products. But the cost savings (and enviro aspects) of soap nuts continue to tempt me. Thanks for the giveaway!

  483. Jennifer August 1, 2009 at 8:44 am #

I have not tried soap nuts yet but I am so very interested in doing so. So I would love to win some of this liquid detergent and maybe start a new trend in laundry amongst my friends!

  486. Michaela August 1, 2009 at 8:43 am #

What a wonderful gift! I just started becoming interested in soap nuts a couple weeks ago & have been starting to ask questions as of late. I’m anxious to try it! I’ve been using the A&H “green” detergent, but as a PP mentioned about her brand, my store has discontinued this. When it was marked down, I bought the last 7. But it’s not going to last long, especially with 3 boys & 2 daycare girls, plus Hubba & I.

I’m off to post about this on my blog. Thank you for this!

I would love to try soap nuts. I have been wanting a safe and natural alternative to Tide that can clean my three boy’s dirty clothes! Thank you.

  490. Traci Katz August 1, 2009 at 8:36 am #

I have been experimenting with natural laundry soaps and I would love to try this! I’m not sure I am satisfied with what I’ve discovered so far, so I am open to options!

  491. Stephanie August 1, 2009 at 8:35 am #

I’ve read a little bit about soap nuts, but haven’t tried them yet. Finding safe, cost-effective laundry detergent is so difficult that I’ve considered making my own, I’m still not completely excited about all the ingredients that I would need to use, nor the inconvenience involved. I would love to try soap nuts, so by all means, enter me in the contest!

BTW, I’m a newcomer to your blog, & I’ve found it very informative & inspiring. Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge!

  492. Lin August 1, 2009 at 8:35 am #

I haven’t tried Soap nuts before, but would love to be entered in the giveaway. I’m glad to have found a natural detergent and am looking forward to switch to Soap nuts. Thank you very much!

  493. Lindsey August 1, 2009 at 8:34 am #

  498. Soccy August 1, 2009 at 8:30 am #

I’ve tried the Soap Nuts on your recommendation and love it. I’m so excited about this giveaway because I wanted to try the liquid form. Is it true you can use it in your dishwasher?

Please enter me in your contest. I also posted a link to your blog on my Facebook page.

  499. Annalea August 1, 2009 at 8:29 am #

I haven’t yet tried soap nuts, mostly because I wasn’t comfortable with the imprecise idea of tossing the dried fruit in with the laundry. With a liquid, that concern is gone, and I’m really curious to see how it would work.

Now, off to post about the giveaway on my blog . . .

    Thanks so much!

  500. Jen August 1, 2009 at 8:29 am #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’ve seen them all over the internet. I would love to try it! Thanks for the opportunity.

  501. Lisa August 1, 2009 at 8:28 am #

I have not tried, but would love to. It sounds like a great product that would be good for my family. Thanks!

  502. Whitney August 1, 2009 at 8:21 am #

I have not used soap nuts but have been interested since your last soap nuts giveaway. I’ve been having issues with my little girl having a red bottom after wearing her cloth diapers. I’ve switched laundry detergent, tried drying the cd’s in the sun, and washed the inserts with several drops of grapefruit seed extract. Nothing has worked yet. Maybe soap nuts will make the difference.

  503. Heather August 1, 2009 at 8:11 am #

I’m interested in trying it for our laundry…Does it work with hard water in dishwasher? Just wondered how it compared to your homemade recipe for dishwasher. Please do enter me in the giveaway :)

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but have been SO intruiged by them since you blogged about them. I really want to try them but haven’t found a way to squeeze them into our (already very tight) budget. I really hope I win so I can try this! What a great give away – thank you!!

Sounds really cool – I’d like to try it out. If it works, I’ll totally buy some!

  507. Amy August 1, 2009 at 8:00 am #

I haven’t yet tried soap nuts, in fact, I’d never heard of them until I stumbled onto your blog. I would be extremely interested to see how they stack up against traditional cleansers as I’ve been trying to ‘green’ our laundry lately! Plus, they look like a bargain!

  508. Jen August 1, 2009 at 7:59 am #

I’ve never heard of soap nuts before. I’d love to try it. Thanks.

  509. Jamie August 1, 2009 at 7:54 am #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet either, but I recently purchased Country Save detergent for the cloth diapers we are going to use for our first baby (due to arrive in the next few weeks). I like the Country Save, but I miss using liquid detergent and have been interested in using soap nuts since reading about them.

  510. Ashanna August 1, 2009 at 7:38 am #

I’m always looking for ways to safely and naturally simplify life, and laundry is no exception! I haven’t tried soap nuts yet, but I’ve been reading a lot about them on your blog and would love to see what they’re all about! Thanks for the offer!

  511. Felicia August 1, 2009 at 7:35 am #

I would like to be entered in the give away please. I have never used soapnuts before.

After years of not listening to my instinct, I am finally doing what it takes to make my entire household “green” and healthy. Your website has helped me a lot. Thanks!

  512. Amy S. August 1, 2009 at 7:30 am #

I have just recently found your blog and love it! I read about soap nuts here, and would love to try the sample of the liquid version. I have 4 young children and am always trying to find an efficiant, natural way to do my many loads of laundry without spending a fortune! Some of the cleaners I have tried are so expensive and don’t do a great job (plus I still need to use a natural softener!). Thanks for the chance to win this great giveaway!

  513. Elisa August 1, 2009 at 7:25 am #

I would love to give soap nuts a try. Having children with skin allergies, I am always searching for a better laundry soap. Thanks!

  514. Carrie August 1, 2009 at 7:25 am #

  516. Melissa August 1, 2009 at 7:22 am #

Read about soap nuts here, ordered them, loved them, got five more people to use them, giving a talk this Saturday at our church about cleaning for pennies a day and soap nuts will be featured =) Love you blog thanks for all your research. Melissa

  517. Lisa D. August 1, 2009 at 7:22 am #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet but, I would sure like too. I currently make my own soap and wouldn’t mind giving it a try.

  518. laura August 1, 2009 at 7:19 am #

i have never heard of a soapnuts liquid! i would love to give it a try (especially on those stinky diapers!). what a fun giveaway!

  519. SarahMichelle August 1, 2009 at 7:17 am #

I have been wanting to try soap nuts for a while, especially after you blogged about your experience. I actually went to the Naturoli website planning to place an order but wasn’t able to determine if they shipped to Canada. I meant to email them and ask what their policy regarding international shipping was but then I got kind of distracted having a baby :) I really should look into it again though because I am doing A LOT of laundry these days with a 5 week old and 22 month old… hmm, maybe it’s time to give potty training a try! Anyway, I would love to win a sample of the 18X because that is the product I was most interested in ordering.

  520. Susan August 1, 2009 at 6:31 am #

I’m interested in trying soap nuts. It sounds like a good way to help make natural detergent for my laundry – which includes laundry for my 2-year-old and soon-coming newborn! Thanks for the offer!

    • Larissa Holland August 1, 2009 at 12:10 pm #

I just recently learned of soap nuts and am very interested in trying it. My husband and I have been discussing ways to make our own laundry and dishwasher detergent. I also cloth diaper, so I would be interested in trying it with the diapers as well.

  521. Jen Hill August 1, 2009 at 6:29 am #

I haven’t tried soap nuts yet up but would love to. I have been buying Green Mountain for our laundry and the store where I get it is no longer ordering it. They’ve marked it down (good for now but when it’s all gone what do I do?!)

So yes – I’m ready to look into something else that is frugal, natural and can be used for both our diapers and our other laundry!
