Soap Nuts are an incredible green/natural product that continues to fascinate me the more I learn. God supplied us with a fruit from His creation that cleans our laundry with no additives! It grows on trees! Just a simple dried nut placed in a small bag and thrown into your laundry! I am in awe of how He beautifully supplies all we need without any harsh chemicals.
Soap Nuts clean effectively without the addition of softeners. 100% natural, chemical-free, frangrance-free, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Extremely low cost per load! I love how you can convert these soap nuts into a liquid detergent or a powder detergent or just use as they are – whatever method you prefer. Soap nuts are definitely the most natural and frugal laundry detergent option on the market!
Read more about them in my previous post here.
NaturOli has donated twenty 5-load sample packs of their soap nuts to giveaway to our readers! Horray! Now you can have an opportunity to try out this wonderful product. So we will have 20 winners on this one!
I have tried two different brands of soap nuts, Maggie’s Soap Nuts & NaturOli. I cannot even compare the two. Maggie’s are packaged overseas whereas NaturOli’s are carefully inspected and packaged in the States (without any plastic, I should add). Maggie’s came to me all sticky in a plastic bag, with some broken, chipped nuts, whereas NaturOli’s were beautifully dried and carefully selected. No stickiness whatsoever thus a far superior product. Another bonus…NaturOli’s are more reasonably priced!
This sample pack includes enough soap nuts for approximately 5 loads, a small wash bag, and an 8 page introduction & instruction pamphlet.

Hi there, I was so excited to find this website- I started our looking for recipes for natural cleaning products, and ended up here! I am a Christian, and a newer mom of a 1year old. I work part time from home doing administrative stuff for our business, so there is a lot of good stuff for me to glean from this website on many levels. Thanks for putting this together!
These sound fabulous! I would love to try the sample nuts before buying. My oldest daughter has extremely sensitive skin and my youngest breaks out in hives from certain perfumes. The nuts could solve a lot of problems for my family! Thanks.

Wow! That’s a lot of people asking for soapnuts. It’s almost more than those who asked for the Bugaboo giveaway at the last spring carnival! You sure are popular, Lindsay! I’d love to try soapnuts sometime. I am always looking for safer alternatives to laundry detergent. Thank you!
This is a great giveaway! I enjoy your blog and your recent posts about natural alternatives to laundry and dishwasher detergents have inspired me to try some of them…I would really like to try the soap nuts! Thanks!

http://chroniclesofyaya.blogspot.com/2009/06/soap-nuts-giveaway.html
I “stumbled” across your website when I forgot the diaper rash cream one day (and it was one of the rare days I needed it!). I’ve been blessed by your site since then. I’d come across soap nuts previously. I was intrigued but at the time couldn’t look into them more. I’m excited to give them a try. Maybe I’ll even be a winner in your contest.
I’d love to try these! Thanks!
Thank you, Lindsay for the give away. Pleae put my name. I’ve wanted to give soap nuts a try.
I would love to try these…thanks for the great giveaway and the great blog!
Thanks for the give-away! The more simple things like laundry are, the less it’s overwhelming. Even though the homemade soap is simple, soap nuts are so much more so
I’m always excited to read you blog, and the many healthful ideas you have for our homes. Count me in on this sample giveaway!
I’ve heard of soap nuts before. Thanks for all the info on them. I wasn’t sure they were legit.
I should’ve known that God would know that we would need these some day for washing machines!! He does know all! I can’t wait to try these!! Thanks!

Thanks for having this blog! I enjoy it very much
I’d love to experiment with these and our diapers… Thanks!
I’d love to win some of these. My husband brought some home as a sample he was given at work (he does research and development for natural and organic products for a food retailer). We’d never heard of them before then, but were intrigued and very pleased with how well they cleaned. I’d LOVE to have some more.
This would be a great way to try these out! Thank you very much.
Thanks for the post! I just checked them out on the NaturOli site and you can buy a 16 oz. package on sale for only 18.95. The cost per load would be around 11 cents! Can’t beat that!

I am really excited about trying these out, they look amazing!
I’d really like to try these.
Yiipppeee, yip yip yippppeeee!! Thanks a latte for the giveaway! We just bought our first (and last) home so I am able to have my family’s things readily available (instead of in storage) and homemade! Also, my hubby and son have sensitive skin (hubby had many allergies/eczema as a kid) so we are always looking for pure, natural soaps, food, etc.
Thanks again Lindsay, your site is a wealth of information and a blessing to our family!
Thanks for the giveaway! I have been wanting to try these.
I am always looking for new ‘green’ items for our home.
My husband just gave me a very skeptical look when I read him your post. I’d love to prove him wrong – and find a frugal, natural, hypo-allergenic laundry detergent!
And I just heard today that we live in the same city (mutual friend). Love knowing that you can do all these frugal-green activities here in suburbia. Gives me even more inspiration.
I have never heard of such a thing but it sounds awesome! I will definately try these out. Thanks so much
I’ve thought about trying these for a long time. It helps to see an honest review of them!
I would love to give these a try on my husband’s sweaty dress shirts!
This is exactly what I have been looking for…can’t wait to try it!
I am new to your blog and have been on here any chance I can get. I love all the wonderful recipes and suggestions for being more environmentally aware. I would love to try a sample of soap nuts; this is the firswt time I have ever heard about them on your blog.
I just found your blog and am loving it!!! Thanks Bunches…
My skin is very sensitive and I can’t find anything yet that works for my laundry.
I would love to try a sample of these soap nuts!!!
Lindsay –
Thanks for all your research on the Soap Nuts. I’m very intrigued. I recently tried making my own dish washing and laundry detergent due to the harsh chemicals found in most store bought. My husband didn’t like the “smell” of the laundry detergent. Maybe he won’t mind the Soap Nuts. Thanks to NaturOli for the donating the giveaway!
I would love to try these. Thanks for the great giveaway.
I have been wanting to try these and would love to win a sample! – Joy
Oh! I am going to have to try these! Thanks so much for the info!
So, I am curious- do you use this with cloth diapers, too? And it has no fragrance? (I have to confess, I really like a bit of nice smell.
Yes, I do use them for our diapers. They don’t have a distinct smell but they definitely smell fresh. You can actually put some essential oil on a washcloth to add fragrance. Just throw it in with the wash.
I want to try these!!
These would be great to try!
These look like a great alternative! Thanks for the great info!
Would love to give them a try!
thanks for the giveaway..this really intrigues me as I am slowly learning to be green.
I’m new to your blog, but it looks like a treasure trove of info (if slightly overwhelming!). these soap nuts are intriguing–I’d love to win some to try out!
Hmmm…I am very intrigued. Thanks for the give-away
Right after you posted about these, I saw a bag at my local Whole Foods! It was about $20 for a bag. I decided to buy them after I run out of my current detergent. I’d love to win a sample!

I posted wrote a blurb about the soap nuts and posted a link to this site on my blog! enter me twice! here is the link: http://tennesseesunshine.blogspot.com/2009/06/soap-nuts-coolest.html

These look so interesting! Thanks for the giveaway.
The soap nuts sound incredible! Please enter me in your drawing!!
Thanks for the opportunity to win some of these soap nuts. I’ve been hearing a lot about them recently and would love to give them a try!
I am fascinated! I’m definitely going to try these. I have a question though. Your Q&A seems to indicate that these are benign if taken internally, but one website I read said that they’re poisonous. I can appreciate that they are all natural as a cleanser, but I do have two littles who put everything in their mouths. Are they poisonous if ingested?
They are really too large to eat, but no, they are not poisonous…it is just not recommended to ingest them in large quantities.
Would love to be able to give them a try … I’m also interested in your homemade Borax-less laundry soap. Once I’m out of my current stuff will do so. We don’t have a dishwasher (unless you count the human-types) so I was interested to see that you have a recipe for dish soap also.
I have seen these in natural health food stores, never tired them but would like to.
I would love to try soap nuts!!Thanks for a great blog.
I can’t believe how amazing this sounds! God is soooooo good!
I would love to give these a try! These sound great, especially since I’m expecting my first baby and looking for ways to eliminate chemicals from the house.
I have never heard of these but would love to try them!
Thanks for the post – I’ve been curious about soap nuts for immune issues.
Here is my blog post! Thanks! http://glimpsesofmyworld.blogspot.com/2009/06/soap-nuts-worlds-oldest-laundry.html
This is fascinating, and I would *love* the chance to try some!
It is amazing the number of things these babies can do! I love finding truly natural ways to clean.
I have never heard of soap nuts and can’t imagine how they work. Intriguing.
Soap nuts – the newest laundry thing online! I’d love to give them a try!

Def. worth a try! I’m working on converting friends/family to charlies, but I could change my tune to soap nuts no problem!
~Em
I heard about soap nuts a while back and was skeptical about trying them. But after reading your post and seeing that you really like them, I would love to try them too. Yes, isn’t God good. He has provided all our needs and it is sad that we have been led astray to use harsh chemicals and toxins in our homes all these years. Thanks Lindsey for all your hard work in researching safe and effective products for us to use. You are a blessing.
These are so interesting and I would love to win a sample!! I love your blog!
I would love to try this alternative to chemical filled laundry soap. Thanks!
Hahaha! Who knew nuts could clean my laundry! I would LOVE to give this a try.
I was just telling my husband about soap nuts yesterday. As he works with foresters, it was interesting that they can be sustainably harvested.
Love to try them!
I haven’t made my own laundry soap yet–but I have been looking into it. Soap nuts seem like a great alternative. I look forward to trying them. Thanks for the giveaway!
They sound really exciting! I would love to win
I recently decided to try making my own detergent with Borax, but before I could even get the box open I started reading why that might not be such a good idea. I have been dying to try these soap nuts! I was actually reading up on them a little earlier today, and I was so excited when I foudn your giveaway!
What a wonderful giveaway! After reading your post about Borax, I’m glad to see there are some natural alternatives.
Thank you!
Hi I found your link through a friends’ blog who raves about soap nuts. I am highly allergic to…pretty much everything! One huge problem is laundry detergent and if I don’t wash my clothes and sheets in very specific ways I itch and itch and itch. I would love to try these out and see if my problems can be fixed!
I already posted the link on my blog. Hopefully people take advantage of this opportunity.
I am looking forward to trying Soap Nuts!
You’ve definitely piqued my interest!
I currently make my own laundry soap with borax and would like to try something different after reading about your article on borax. Hi! I’d love to win some Soap Nuts! They seem like a wonderful, frugal and natural choice, especially since I have skin issues, including ezcema. Thanks a lot!
Just posted this on my blog
http://adserogers.blogspot.com/
I’m thrilled to see that you’ve posted a give-away for the soapnuts. I’ve just ordered some through Mountain Rose Herbs (7$/LB), which is the best price that I’ve seen so far. I’ll let you know if they are packaged similarly to how you described Naturoli’s. Even though I’ve already ordered some, I’d love to win a sample pack to give to a friend.
Thanks for all the research you do!
Danielle
Danielle, I was thrilled to see the price for soap nuts that you purchased but after further review I would not recommend them. Read more about it here. He is talking specifically in this article about trying the MRH variety. I received a picture comparing them to NaturOli’s and there is a significant difference. It is probably the worst thing anyone could try to experiment with soap nuts. Somehow MRH got ripped off. The actual nuts of the fruit will stain your clothing. I will be sharing more about it shortly. Just be aware that it will be a completely different product in quality. I would recommend you return them.
Thanks for the heads-up. Now I’m a tad bit discouraged. I’ll examine the product when I get it and see what I can do about returning them.
Thanks again,
Danielle
I would love to try these. I’ll be posting this on my blog as well. Thanks!
Thanks for the giveaway. I would love to try them out.

I have been making the homemade laundry soap, but would love to try these ‘natural’ soap nuts. They sound amazing!
I just stumbled onto your website. I’m looking forward to reading your back posts. Also, I’d love to try “Soap Nuts.”
I’ve been wanting to try soap nuts since your last post about laundry and was pleased to learn I could buy a small sample. I haven’t ordered any yet, so winning a free sample would be even better! I appreciate your blog and the godly way in which you share your knowledge of natural prodcuts, etc.
Wow – what an incredible giveaway! Maybe with 20 winners I’ll actually win something! Thanks for the opportunity!
I just found your blog a few weeks ago, and have been enjoying learning about so many things I was unaware of. Like raw milk! I started searching and scouring on the internet, not really thinking I’d be able to find any near me, and low and behold I found some in a health/whole food store just around the block from my house I wasn’t even aware of for 4 years, how fabulous is that? So thanks for being such an inspiration and sharing your wonderful knowledge so freely!
I would just love to try these as well. How fabulous to have 20 winners, too!
I have wanted to try these, but haven’t taken the time to research and order them. I am glad I waited! Thanks for a chance to try them, Lindsay!

I would love to try these!
I have never heard about soap nuts before reading this blog. They sound interesting, I would like to try some.
I would love to be entered in the giveaway. I’ve been intrigued since you started posting about laundry alternatives. I recently started making my own detergent (using the borax) before reading your post about it, but I haven’t been thrilled with it so far. We’re expecting a baby shortly and will be using cloth diapers so I’ve been trying to figure out what we’re going to use to wash them. I’ve been seeing ads for soap nuts all over the place lately, but was skeptical about whether they really worked. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I would love to try soap nuts…I had never even heard of them before! Thanks for the information!!
I have been making our own detergent and it sounds like this would be something to try.
I would really like to give these a try! I am always looking for more cost-effective solutions for keeping our home. (Bonus: By buying from NaturOli, you don’t have to bring that awful picture that’s on the front of Maggie’s into your home!)
I just blogged about your giveaway here: http://godseekersacademy.blogspot.com/2009/06/giveaway-at-passionate-homemaking.html
I was just telling my husband about soap nuts and how I think they’d be a great alternative for us, especially expecting a baby in October. Count me in for the contest!

I blogged about you ~

My daughter suffers from allergy-related skin problems. We are slowly making the switch to natural products. I recently came across a description/blog post of these soap nuts, and I am very interested in trying them out.
Have you used them in washing diapers yet? I’m trying to get rid of stale odors and am open to alternatives. Thanks!
I’ve been hearing about these for awhile and thought they sounded crazy…I’m so glad to hear that they actually work! Amazing!
I have been wanting to try soapnuts, but have hesitated due to using cloth diapers – I had heard mixed reviews about Maggie’s. Maybe this will be my chance to try them!
I posted about the giveaway here: http://www.kitchenstewardship.com/2009/06/11/last-chance-for-bugaloo-shoe-giveaway/
Count me in!
I would love to try these. Since reading about them on your website recently I have been checking them out on the web and trying to bet my brain around using nuts to wash my clothes with. Sounds like fun!
Thanks for the opportunity.

I have not seen anything like soap nuts yet, but I would love to try them! I like how they are 100% natural. I have been using a liquid detergent made from plant extracts. It claims to be all natural, but it does not give a detailed list of ingridients, so I’m not quite sure what’s in it.
I would love to win the soapnuts! I have been making my own detergent for about a year and would love to find an alternative to borax.
Jill in PA
These would be fun to try. I always love trying new products, especially those that are good for my family. Thanks for the great giveaway!

Our family has been researching altnerative laundry soaps (as we use the common homemade powder recipe with Borax), but we would love to be entered in your contest to try some of the soap nuts. It IS amazing how everything was created to sustain itself! Have a wonderful day!
~Jes~
I’m not sure if my last comment made it or not, if it did, I’m sorry for the repeat!!! But I blogged about this giveaway at my blog:

I would LOVE to try some soap nuts! I’ve been trying to convince my hubby to let me try some out on our laundry, but he’s a “Tide guy” and tells me that “washing our laundry with some sort of peanut isn’t going to get it clean.” Oh, how I’d love to prove him wrong.
ohhh…this would be so fun to try!

Oh my goodness! These sound amazing! I have been making my own laundry soap and love it, but these sound so easy to use. I would love to try them!
I really want to try these. They would also make fun gifts to give away to friends and family to promote green laundry soap.
I blogged!

What a great opportunity! I have been thinking about ordering these myself, but a trial sample would be awesome
Would love to try them.
Thanks for having this giveaway! I’ve heard of soap nuts before and am very interested in trying them.
Thanks for sharing with us about Soap Nuts. I had never heard of them before. They’re intriguing. I’d love to try them out.

I would like to try these please!
I’m adding my “I’d love to try this” comment here. Thanks for the opportunity and encouragement to use all natural inexpensive home products!
I would love to have these!! My mom would love to try them too!
I found out about Soap Nuts from your website. I think it is so neat that God created a fruit for laundry! I am trying to wean myself from harmful toxic products and I would love to try these out!
I’ve read about these somewhere before and i think they would be super interesting to try! I’ve been looking for more natural ways to clean and keep the toxic crap away from my lil one
Intrigued!
This sounds very interesting! I’m willing to give it a try!
I heard about these for the first time just a couple months ago, and would love to try them! I probably will even if I don’t win.
These sound really interesting and it would be great to see how they work.
I’ve used the Maggies and really liked them, but that is my only experience with soap nuts. As you pointed out, they were in plastic and bits of the plastic stuck to them and were a pain to get off. I was disappointed by that. Even if I don’t win, I think I’ll get a trial pack to see how I like them. The Maggie’s did a much better job cleaning our diapers than anything else I’ve used.
I would just love to try this product, but I am afraid to buy before trying this product. Thanks for letting us know about all these neat things.
Soap nuts???!!! I love it already!
Hmmm I’ve never heard of this– very interesting.. I’d love to try !!
I would love to try these. My daughter is allergic to everything.
I can’t wait to give these a try!!!
I had never even heard of soap nuts before I ran across your blog. I must admit I’m not as health conscious as I’d like to be, but I’ve been getting more interested in learning about natural products. I would like to find some solid research about chemicals in products that are marketed to us like shampoo, soap, etc.
Anyway, I love the idea that soap nuts can help eczema too. I am currently trying product number 6 on my sons eczema. It’s not getting worse but not getting any better either. I think soap nuts are next on my to try list.
Thanks for the info and giveaway!
I’m so intrigued by these … I’d love to try them!
I’d love to try this!!
Sounds very interesting! I’d love to try them!
Thanks!
That sounds very interesting to try…
My sister gave me some soap nuts a few months ago, but no instructions. I would love to get some more and the explanation of how to best use them. Thanks!

I’ve been thinking of this since you first posted about it. I’m just downright weary of chemicals, etc. for any of our cleaning needs. The only area that I haven’t been able to find an inexpensive healthy alternative for is laundry detergent.
I’d love to enter! thank you!
These are too cool!!!
Wow! I had never heard of soap nuts before. I am really excited to try them either through a give-away from you or by ordering them myself. Sounds like a great option! Thanks!
I would love to be added!

I am not sure if I believe they would get the grease and dirt and grime from my husband’s clothes but I am willing to give them a shot.
Thanks!

I’ve been curious about soap nuts ever since you reviewed them in a recent blog entry! Natural, effective, AND frugal? Pick me, pick me!!!! (raises hand)
My son and I both have super sensitive skin, but I’m always so disappointed in the cleaning power of “sensitive” detergents. It would be great to give these a try!!
They sound interesting, and I’d love to give them a try. Can you use them on front loaders?
Definitely! They actually work the best with front loaders as it provides more effective agitation.
These sound great! I’m guessing that because they don’t generate suds, then the bag of soap nuts can stay in the load through the rinse cycle… ?
I’m really enjoying your blog! Thanks so much!
Thanks for the review, have been wanting to try them!!
I am definitely interested in trying the soap nuts. My husband will think I’m crazy, but that’s ok. The proof is in the pudding!
I would love to try out Soap Nuts, I am especially interested in introducing them to my sister who has very sensitive skin.

i love soap nuts! they cleaned my laundry so well (even the cloth diapers!). but the company i ordered from, it was the same thing as maggie’s: sticky, broken, and they shipped from canada and took forever to get here. i would love to try some from naturoli!!

I would love to try soap nuts! I have been making powder laundry soap for a year now and love it. Thank for all your natural info on your blog. How do soap nuts do for people with sensitive sking?

Thanks for the contest! I am curious to try soap nuts!

I would love to try these out before purchasing them!
I have heard of soap nuts before, but haven’t tried them. They sound really interesting!
Is there a difference between organic and non-organic soap nuts?
Jill
No. Soap nut trees grow in the wild and thus not subject to pesticides or chemical sprays. Secondly, bugs don’t like soap nuts anyway, so there is no need for chemicals.
I’ve always wanted to try these…..thanks for the review also!
I hear these are good for people with eczema, which my 2 yr old has. thanks!
Wow, Lindsey, those sound really neat! I would love to try some.
Also, thank you so much for you terrific blog. Though I’m still living with my wonderful parents and siblings, I enjoy reading your entries (though I’ve only recently discovered your blog and am still catching up on past posts), finding things to implement now, and storing up ideas for when I, Lord willing, manage a home of my own. =)
Blessings!
Cristina
Sounds refreshing to have a natural way to get the laundry clean! Love your ideas and generosity for sharing them with your readers. Thank you. I’ve just started reading your blog this spring and I’m hooked.

How Neat!!! I have been looking into eco-friendly and frugal laundry detergent methods and I have never heard of these. They don’t sell them where I live so I would need to order them off the web, but they sound like something that would be great to use. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
I never heard of these before you posted about them earlier, but I’d love to give them a try! Thanks for the giveaway, even if I don’t win

I have been wanting to try Soapnuts for awhile, currently we use Charlie’s soap and have been pleased but I like the idea of using a truly natural God made product. With 5 boys we have lots of laundry: )
~Roxie

I would love to try this product!!! Love your blog!
I would love to try something else. I make my own right now and it has been so much more inexpensive. But I am always willing to try something else. Thanks for the opportunity.
I’ve read about soapnuts before but have never tried them. I’m always looking for natural ways to clean. Our society has been so heavily influenced by chemical companies to believe their products are safe and effective when there are so many natural, less-known alternatives around. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!
Enter me!!
Thanks,
Nate
I have always wanted to try SoapNuts! Pick me! Pick me!
Pretty please?
Pretty please with sugar on top?
And a cherry?
And perhaps maybe even a SoapNut on top too??
I have never heard of these before. Fascinating and amazing that God provides for our every need, even clean clothes : )
These will be very helpful for me. I have a son with eczema so i am very careful about what I was his clothes and bedding with.
Thank you for posting!
And I just posted a link on my blog too
How exciting! Thank you for continually bringing us wonderful new and natural cleaning solutions.
Ah! Would LOVE to try these.
I would love to try these! Thanks for the chance!
I have been hearing about soapnuts lately on several blogs and am very intrigued by them. Our family is new to the adventure of making a safer, eco friendly home for our children and what an adventure it has been so far! Thank you for the wonderful information and tips you give in your blog.
I would love to try soapnuts!!! Thank you for this blog, by the way, I’m learning much and appreciate your God-centered perspective!
I don’t have a blog, but I posted your blog link on my Facebook page. Hopefully that will be enough for another entry. Anyway, thanks for your blog. It really is a blessing.
I’m never heard of soap nuts, how interesting! I am going to have to read more about it. Thanks for all of the great info you put on your blog. You are a pretty cool chick!
I am so anxious to try these. My husband doesn’t want me to buy them because he thinks they won’t work. Your experience is very encouraging. I really enjoy reading your blog. Please enter me for the soap nut giveaway.
Thanks
Soccy
I have wanted to try soapnuts. I would love to win!
I would love to win soap nuts! I have been wanting to try them for a long time but haven’t been able to afford the money to experiment with!
Yay! I’m intrigued by these and hope to try them out! We love all your recipes by the way, especially the chicken curry!
those sound great! i have recently starting reading your blog and love all the natural ideas that you have. i would love to try these!
One little thing I’d point out because I went to research them: they are great if you’re doing multiple loads of laundry on the same day. But I only do one, maybe two, loads a week, so they wouldn’t be economical for me. Maybe I could convert them … But anyway, they’re better for people with more laundry!
Actually, they work perfectly fine if you are doing laundry throughout the week. I do it all the time! You just want to take them out of the washer. I just place them on top of the dryer to dry between loads.
OH, ok – good to know. I was going off the comments on Amazon.com and some other places – researching before I bought.
Thanks so much for all the great natural cleaning ideas I would love to try the soap nuts!
I’ve really been wanting to try these but haven’t taken the plunge. Thanks for such a great giveaway!
I have been wanting to try these for some time. I love that they’re all natural! Thanks for the great review of them and on the different companies!
With 6 kids I do WAY too much laundry! I would love to try out soap nuts. Thanks for all of the wonderful information on your blog.
Yay! I’d love to try soapnuts! Thanks so much for your blog!
Yea a givewaway! I’d love to give them a try.
What an interesting alternative! Would love to try Soap Nuts!
Count me in! I’ve been using commercial laundry products for my entire married life, and now, after 13 years and four kids, I’m ready for a healthier alternative! Thanks for all the work you do, and thank you so much more for sharing what you learn with the rest of us!
I love your blog and would be thrilled to try some soap nuts. Thanks for all of the information you post.
Wow, how generous!! I would love to try these.
Hello! I recently found your blog, and am very interested in your posts. My husband likes to use “natural/whole grains/homemade” things, that are also better for the budget (I’m learning!) I’d love to try soap nuts. Have a great day!
Loved reading about your research on the soap nuts. Would love the chance to try them out!
Wow I would love to try them considering just about the only laundry detergent I can use is woolite because my skin is so sensitive.
As I continue my quest toward more natural homemaking, products like this absolutely fascinate me. I’d love to win a pack!
I think soap nuts sound like the coolest thing! My skin and laundry detergent do not get along very well and as soon as my next bottle of (never on sale safe for my skin type) is used up, I will be trying these. I’d love to win them, but either way, I need to get me some.
Thank you so much for all the helpful laundry cleaning info. I had recently gotten two different recipes for homemade detergent using borax etc. I was excited to try them out after finishing up my bulk purchases of BioKleen laundry detergent. However, then I ran across your entries on borax and the natural alternatives (that are good for environment and us) like Soap Nuts. I am excited to try this out. Thanks for doing all the research. It is much appreciated.
I would love to try this. Sounds awesome! Great blog Lindsay. I check you out almost everyday!
I’ve been thinking about switching to soapnuts… when the time comes for cloth diapers, I will definitely try it!
I blogged about your giveaway at http://notsosimplysle.blogspot.com/.
I’ve been thinking about switching our laundry to something more natural, but didn’t want to pay th premium price for it (we’re on a really tight budget). After reading your reviews of soap nuts and Charlies, I thought that maybe this would be somthing we could do. It would be great if we could try it out first, though. This is a great giveaway. Thanks for all your research and commentary on everything. It really is a HUGE blessing to me (and I’m sure a lot of other people, too). Thanks!
I was just reading your post about natural laundry options last night. So I would be super excited to try these! Thanks for all the work you do to help us live frugal but natural lives. I really appreciate you.
Ooooh, yay, a giveaway! I would be thrilled to give these a try! Thanks!
Sounds great!
I would love to be entered in this giveaway. Thank you!

Love your web-site and all of the informative tidbits. Would love the opportunity to try the soap nuts as I am currently in the process of converting to a more natural and friendly way of cleaning.
I currently use Allen’s Naturally detergent. I have been wanting to research and try soap nuts. Would love this opportunity. Thank You!
How cool! I’ve recently read a little about Soap Nuts, and would love to try them out.
Sooo interesting! I have been using a “homemade” laundry soap for about 9 months now and then I read your Borax post so I stopped using it and went back to regular-ole store bought laundry soap. I have desperately been in pursuit of a different natural soap since! Thanks!
I also have not tried soap nuts, but am intrigued to experiment with them. Thanks for the give away opportunity.
Thank you for doing this giveaway! I would love for a chance to try soap nuts!
I would like to try these, sign me up!
I love your blog! Thank you so much for the encouragement and great ideas. I am working to slowly use more organic foods and cleaning supplies after the birth of my son. I would love to try the soap nuts! You may have posted this earlier, but do they work well on cloth diapers? Blessings!
I’m brand new to your blog, having found the wonderful tomato soup recipe earlier this week. These soap nuts are intriguing!
Soap nuts sound very interesting. I would be excited to give them a try. Can you use them with diapers?
I am a new reader to your blog (about 3 weeks) and have been enjoying it very much! I too got interested in the soap nuts after you did your review. I would love to be a winner of one of the trial packets! Thanks ~
I’d love to try these!
Oh I would just love to try soap nuts! My husband and I are getting ready to travel around the world, and I think soap nuts will be fantastic for traveling, whether we do laundry in the sink or in a machine. That way, we won’t have to hunt down laundry soap at each place!
I’ve never heard of this, but I’d love to give it a try!
If I can convince my husband. He’s sort of a laundry Nazi. He prefers to the laundry – and all that comes with that. I’m happy to give it to him!
What a great idea. I’ve been making my own detergent (containing borax) – but I’m going to try Soap Nuts. They certainly sound simpler…
I also have really been enjoying your blog. It has helped me alot in my quest for a more simple healthy lifestyle for me and my family. I love the deoderant! I have been making my own laundry detergent for a while now but would love to try the soap nuts. I’m looking for every way possible to get the chemicals out of my house. Your recipes have been really delicious too.
I’ve been intrigued by soap nuts, just haven’t tried them yet. That huge bucket of Charlie’s Soap has lasted well over a year…it’s getting low and time to try something new!
I have been following your blog since late last year and have really enjoyed reading about the research you have done on several different things. I have been using my own laundry soap made out of the borax that you were talking about. I am interested in looking into the Soap Nuts product instead. Thanks again for all of the research you do!
How awesome! I already use Charlies soap, but would love a chance at trying the soapnuts! Yay
This sounds really neat and I would love to give it a try. Thanks for encouraging our generation to be women who glorify God and respect our husbands. It means a lot.
I have yet to try soap nuts- what a perfect opportunity!
First, I really love your blog – it is so inspirational and full of great ideas. When you first mentioned Soap Nuts I immediately put it on my list of things to research and try out. We are always trying to find ways to simplify, and Soap Nuts seem like the way to go. Thanks again for such a lovely blog.
I am in Canada so I don’t qualify for the contest, but still wanted you to know how much I appreciate your blog.
