On October 9-11, 2008, over 6,300 women gathered in Chicago, Illinois, to answer the question, “What is a true woman?” They were encouraged to:
- Discover and embrace God’s created design and mission for their lives
- Reflect the beauty and heart of Christ to their world
- Intentionally pass on the baton of Truth to the next generation
- Pray earnestly for an outpouring of God’s Spirit in their families, churches, nation, and world
I was able to listen to the messages from this conference and was so challenged and inspired in my pursuit of becoming God’s true woman. These messages are solidly built upon the truth of the Word of God, and struck a powerful cord in my heart and passion to continue passing on these messages to other women.
I am excited to share that Revive Our Hearts has announced three more True Woman Conferences in 2010:
- Chattanooga, TN on March 25-27, 2010
- Indianapolis, IN on Sept. 23-25, 2010
- Fort Worth, TX on Oct. 14-16, 2010

Thank you so much for sharing! I love Nancy Leigh DeMoss. We studied her book “The LIes Women Beleive….” in our small group a few years ago. Anyhow, I downloaded last years conference, took my laptop to the bathroom, an listened to her talk over a long bath. Just the perfect thing after a long day finishing taxes, a rough battle-worn week…. I mean year! Thank you so much…this was just what I needed to hear! Very Encouraging!

Thanks so much for posting this! I went to the site and printed out the first two messages in transcript form and brought them to the gym with me to read… they were wonderful! My husband I both really appreciate the ministries of John Piper and the Biblical Council or Manhood and Womanhood, so this was fantastic!! How uplifting and refreshing to hear the words, “It’s not about you, it’s all about Him,” being preached without apology (we hear the opposite so often at other conferences for women), and to see the response. Thank you, thank you! And thank you so much for your site. I live just across the river in Portland so a lot of your resource suggestions are very accessible to me and you’ve been a great help!
hooray! i have been really blessed by nancy leigh demoss’ ministry and i live 10 minutes from fort worth. i will also, Lord willing, be at the conference. if i can serve you or your sisters in any way (prayer/help with housing/meals/recreation) i would love the opportunity. i do pray the Lord will use this conference in our day to draw the women to Himself. soli Deo gloria!
I am hoping to be able to make the Indianapolis conference with my mom. Nancy Leigh DeMoss has been such a great blessing to my life through her teachings in these last six months.
I heartily recommend anything that Revive Our Hearts does. Of course I’m slightly biased since my husband works for Life Action Ministries (of which ROH is a part!); in fact, right across the building from Nancy DeMoss’ office.
Oh that is so exciting! I hope I’m able to make it to one next year. I’m in South Dakota. Looks like TX or IL would be my choices
