Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
Congratulations! She is beautiful! I can’t wait to read your birth story! May the Lord bless your family! <3
Congratulations Lindsay! God bless your family… your blog is a great encouragement over here in our family. I’m sure you’re enjoying the precious moments together with your little Eden. Will try to remember to pray for you
She is absolutely lovely…I think she looks like daddy!
Oh, my goodness! I was sure you were having another boy! She is gorgeous! Congrats and hope you heal quickly and enjoy your new daughter!
Oh how sweet! I thought I would check in to see if you had had your baby yet as I am almost a regular reader but not quite, and how wonderful to see this new little face snuggling here! What a beautiful gift and a little sister for the big sister!
Great to hear about your exploration of classical education. I mix that with Charlotte Mason as do many others and I look forward to reading your posts about homeschooling as you prepare for the upcoming years.
I too am looking for activities and learning tools for my young girls and have found some help in the Montessori method. I don’t subscribe to all their views on children, but there is overlap between this and Charlotte Mason so I think it will be helpful. Sorry to babble on, enjoy your new baby girl, thinking of you!
Congratulations! She is a beautiful blessing – praise God
Praise the lord for new life! Hope you are both doing well, congrats!
Congratulations! And holy cow, she looks just like Aaron.
What! Congratulations! I knew you were pregnant but tripped out when I saw the name. Our Eden Joy just turned 3 in June. When we named her Eden I had never met one, and now that name, and middle name keeps coming up! Our best friends who we didn’t know really at the time I was pregnant with her (a friend introduced us when we were far along in our pregnancy and lived a few hours apart) also named their daughter Eden Joy, and she is turning 3 on Saturday. In a MOPS group we are a part of at a local church there is another Eden Joy in the nursery there! Crazy.
She is beautiful and I can not wait to read the birth story. Good job, mom, and great name! I think God is really liking that name right now! What a bundle of sweetness for you!
Congratulations!!! She is so beautiful as is her name!!! Thanking the Lord for blessing you with a healthy baby girl and safe delivery.
Congratulations!!
Congratulations! How beautiful!
Congrats!! She is beautiful and I love her name. Enjoy your babymoon! I look forward to hearing your birth story once you are rested.
Congratulations! I’m due in two weeks, and I kept checking back to see if you’d had your baby yet! She is gorgeous, and I LOVE her name!!!
Congratulations! What a beautiful blessing from God! I’m sorry to hear you had a difficult labor. I hope you are able to really rest and heal during these next couple of weeks. Praise God she was able to be born at home!
She is beautiful and I love her name. In particular, I love her middle name. My middle name is ‘Gay’ which I’ve treasured for its old fashioned meaning, It was my mother’s middle name. But the name ‘Joy’ is the name I will pass down to my children, for it has that same feeling as my middle name; short, sweet, and happy. I am pregnant with my fifth and this one’s middle name is either Joy or Grace, I haven’t yet decided…that is if I am having a girl as I suspect. I’m leaning more toward Joy, but I do feel almost as strongly for the name Grace, as I feel she is a grace for us. I wanted to wish you well with number three, and let you know, while I had terrible insomnia starting baby three’s pregnancy and afterwards (it came out of nowhere since I never struggled with it priorly in my life) it cleared away as much as it came on for baby four and I haven’t struggled even a speck for baby number four’s pregnancy, after, or during baby fifth’s pregnancy. I pray that the Lord has this in store for you too!!! Once I was finally not afraid of it at all, (gratitude at night to replace fear, trusting the Lord’s love, and companionship in the awake time, etc. And thinking about my day as far as running sweet memories of my kids seemed to zoom me off to sleep) it has cleared. Of course I am not sure if its also a physiological thing and somehow the inside of me balanced too health-wise and hormone-wise, but I am so grateful and I truly truly wish this for you, but if not I pray you will still bask in the Lord’s love and grace to hold your hand always. ~Blessings, and Congratulations~!
Emily

Congulations to momma, daddy and the kiddos! She is absolutely beautiful and so is her name. My midwife says 1st babies take a long time to deliver, 2nd babies arrive quickly and 3rd babies show us we don’t know anything about birth after all…can’t wait to hear your birth story on baby #3, who sounds like she did indeed fulfill this midwifery maxim!
(FYI – My midwife shared that little saying with us because I am set to delivery baby #3 in October. I had a 9-year break between baby #1 and baby #2, so we’re all hoping this baby is more like a “2nd baby” than a “3rd baby”, most especially me.)
congratulations, Lindsay! What a beautiful blessing to you and your family. I am so DELIGHTED for you all!
My birth stories exactly mimicked what this midwife said: a terribly long 1st birth; an amazingly speedy 2nd; and an even longer-than-the-first 3rd birth (but not nearly as intense). Oh, and then there was my 4th! He couldn’t even wait till we arrived at the hospital – a “suburban” baby!
Anyway, so happy for you all, and cannot wait to hear all about Eden’s entry onto the world stage. But, we can all wait for you to take time to heal, recover and enjoy those precious early days. They go by so fast!!
Congratulations!!
Congratulations! What a lovely name. So pleased to hear your lovely news
Congratulations on your new little one! May God be with you especially in the coming weeks as you heal and adjust to having a third little bundle of joy!

CONGRATULATIONS EDMONDS FAMILY!!! Little Eden is just BEAUTIFUL!! I love her name!! I’m sorry labor was difficult! I hope you heal quickly and easily! Just so you know, I’m a Young Living Essential Oils distributor and I have a paper on testimonies of women’s birth stories and what oils they used on them and their babies and how they worked! Maybe there’s some essential oils that would help you heal well…Just let me know if you’re interested in the paper or even the oils! I can attest to some of the oil stories just with my own family! There’s some that I wish I had known before I had my first child! Oh, well, you live and you learn! Anyway, hope everything’s going well for ya’ll! Enjoy that precious bundle of joy!

Congratulations on the birth of a beautiful baby girl! A water birth…looking forward to reading your birth testimony of God’s goodness and faithfulness. I, too, am expecting this month {our 8th…4th girl} and planning for our first water birth. Lord willing, it will be a blessed experience…each birth is different, as is each blessing.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you. May He give your spiritual body peace and thanksgiving, your physical body healing and rest and your home joy.
In Him ~
