Off to the Philippines!

My husband and I depart this morning for the Philippines to participate in the Compassion Bloggers team. I am thrilled to see and hear all that God has in store for us! I will be blogging daily here this next week (May 29-June 3) about all our adventures, so stay tuned!

I would appreciate your prayers for our safety, health (at 30 weeks pregnant!), and the ability to express all that God desires me to communicate with you! I want to see my vision for His mission expanded!

Join us in sponsoring a child from the Philippines! We get to meet our special little girl, Jerry (age 4), during our visit!

Thanks so much for an educational blog. I’ve been looking for this kind of information for a while now.

Lindsay, I am really looking forward to reading all your posts about your Compassion tour. I, too, sponsor a little girl in the Philippines, Sheinalyn, through Compassion International. God bless your time in the Philippines!

I am so excited that you will be going to the Philippines. My family and I are raising support to go there as missionaries. It is going to be hot!! I will pray with you, especially as you are pregnant. But I am so excited to see the ministry that you will be doing for our Lord and how the gospel will be shared! Blessings to you and your husband.

Oh, Lindsay, this is great news! I’ve been following your blog for a few years now and I’ve wondered when you guys would begin missions… not to imply you never have and I know you have been involved in supportive ways. I just remember that being your heart. I will pray for safety for you both and most of all that God’s will be done for all involved. The harvest is great, but workers are few… so glad you guys have been and are workers!

Praying that your journey might be blessed and that Jesus might be made much of in all you do!

I love this list. I need to check some of these out. I’m doing a Bible study Book Club with The Mission of Motherhood by Sally Clarkson. Love how it’s making me focus on what is most important!
