Mommy’s Day Off

I am taking a lovely day to myself today! My gracious sister in law is taking Karis for the day in order that I can rest and relax. I am trying to store up strength for the labor and postpartum. Baby is coming soon! Baby has dropped and I have been experiencing a good amount contractions. So I am signing off for the weekend…blessings upon you all!

UPDATE: Okay, I am sorry…some readers thought I was in labor…but I should clarify. I was having a lot of Braxten Hicks contractions! We will let you know of the arrival as soon as it takes place. ;) Thanks for all your sweet comments!

I keep checking back for updates and I’m interpreting the lack of them as an announcement. I hope you and your family (especially your new little one) are doing well.

    Hi :)

For some reason, my email wouldn’t go through to you on your Contact page, so I am posting this question and comment here.

I am so thankful to have found your site. If I could remember which blog I was on that mentioned you, I would give them credit, but I can’t recall. My daughters have also started reading your information, and thus far we have each or in combination made your deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, green smoothies, and use coconut oil for a moisturizer. We are all trying to get back to basics and also eat more healthy and go natural at the same time. Thank you for your information and for having this web site. :)

My daughter’s little four-year-old helped her shop for ingredients for the smoothies. She didn’t want the vegetables in the drink so instead called them Incredible Hulk (for the green color) smoothies. That got him! He loved the it and kept showing her his muscles and how strong he was getting from drinking it!

With summer coming and bad skin to begin with, I am looking to make or find a natural SPF cream. Do you have any information on this?

Thank you for your time. :0)

I hope you have an amazing birth. I love that moment when I push the baby out and see it and hold it for the first time. It is one of the best things in the world!!!

I still have a lot to learn as far as how to add stuff to my blog. But thought you may want to drop by and say hello (if you get a chance) and any suggestions from you will be greatly appreciated. I hope your birthing goes very well! THat is such and exciting time. I noticed below that you like the Bradley Method as well. For my first baby I went to a Lamaze class and read the Bradley book. I didn’t like the Lamaze breathing at all but found all the information from the Bradley book to be very helpful! I also very much appreciated my husband being a wonderful birthing coach and support. Natural birthing isn’t pain free but it can be a very wonderful time. :-)

I am so excited for you! As you look forward to your new addition, don’t miss the moments left as a family of three. With each new child, I learned to appreciate every moment as it was and not rush to the next one.

Sounds like you really need this day of rest! If you’re anything like me, you won’t really realize how badly you needed a break until you’re 1/2 way through it. lol
