Our New Aprons

I have been desperately needing a new apron and since Karis loves joining me in the kitchen now, why not make matching ones for fun? I took an old apron and used it as a pattern. It took 1 1/4 yards of fabric for the main fabric and about 1/4 yard for pockets and ties. Karis’ was a little more tricky and it took cutting it down several times and trying it on again before we found a size that worked! This is one of our Christmas presents for both of us!

Those are wonderful aprons! If I could always remember to wear one while in the kitchen over the past twenty years I would have saved alot of time and money on shirts, soap and bleach trying to get the stains out. Hint, hint.

Too cute! What a great idea! Its been hard to find a manly option for Joe, at least one that doesn’t break the bank. Thank you for the inspiration.

Cute aprons! I’m not an apron girl at all. I only have one apron and that’s because it was given as a gift at my bridal shower. I think I’ve wore it once in the 10 yrs we’ve been married lol.
